Kiyama Hiromitsu’s life challenge “10,000 yen a month”

On March 25th it was revealed that Kis-My-Ft2 member, Kitayama Hiromitsu will participate in the already popular battle between entertainers in “Ikinari! Ougun Densetsu” (TV Asahi/ Thursdays 7PM).

Kitayama commented, “I think the game will be very tough, I will dare to dive in and I will win by forcing myself! I am very enthusiastic and I want to keep my presence here until the end and lead it to the victory”. Kasuga Toshiaki will be his partner and will support him representing the production staff, his goal is to exceed his balance, he referred to his role, “I will become the housewife of a hero”.

Last summer, another Kisumai member, Tamamori Yuta won the competition by creating life saving from onions and surviving by creating many recipes. Kitayama was advised by Tamamori, “show your true colors”. This time, Kitayama has also life savings, eggs. Aside from being inexpensive, there’s a large number of dishes that use eggs and flour and this ensures a proper nutrition and cooking.

Kitayama commented on their relationship, “I am an only child so when I feel the kindness of Kasuga, I feel like he is my older brother”, to which Kasuga replied, “Gradually I’m starting to see him as a cute little brother”. This two have developed a strange bond. The spring edition of this variety wil be broadcasted since April.

No surprise they're doing a #1 clean sweep in the Oricon charts on day #1...is that right that KAT-TUN was the last one to do so (weekly) back in 2006?


But hey - why they haven't been leaked yet? I don't see it on JPS yet... Usually when it's popular acts we see it leak early - but I'm quite surprised after day #1 of Oricon came out I still haven't seen it yet on JPS...

Either I'm too tired currently or something but what I've listened to the 1st few album tracks of Good Izuke ! so far - not good if not very hard

It's not as mainstream unlike Kis-My-1st & the album mix of Ai no Beat was so disappointing

Ah well tomorrow I will listen to both Good Izuke ! & Kis-My-Zero 3 with a clearer mindset or maybe the singles are just too good this time round idk

Looks like I'm right . The album tracks in Good Ikuze ! are not as good as Kis-My-1st which's bad

The only standout track in it , I feel , has to be Kitayama's solo . The rest are either too slow , unmemorable if not something lacking in them

Ironically , Kis-My-Zero 3 is way better than Good Ikuze ! o_O

I like it that Kisumai at least are releasing both their pre debut & now debut songs co-currently

I wish that would happen to KAT-TUN . I'm sure there're still a lot more songs KAT-TUN did during their pre debut which they didn't include in Best of KAT-TUN & seeing Ueda's Love In Snow in a CD is something that probably will never happen =(

Kis-My-Ft2 tops Oricon’s Singles, Album, and DVD chart

Kis-My-Ft2 three simultaneous releases dominated the Oricon Weekly Charts.

Their ‘ 7th single “Ki•Su•U•Ma•I ~KISS YOUR MIND~ /S.O.S (Smile On Smile)“, new album “Good Ikuze!“, and new DVD “YOSHIO -NEW MEMBER-” were all released simultaneously on March and topped Oricon’s weekly single ranking for single, album, DVD ranking (overall). The sales for the first week were 214,000 copies (single), 222,000 copies (album), and 126,000 copies (DVD) respectively.

It’s been the first time in 7 years for one artist to have first place on the single, album, and DVD weekly charts simultaneously. In Oricon’s history, they’re only the 3rd artist to accomplish it after Hamasaki Ayumi (in October 2000), and KAT-TUN (in April 2006).

“Ki•Su•U•Ma•I ~KISS YOUR MIND~ /S.O.S (Smile On Smile)“ is the 7th consecutive single for the group to top the single ranking since their debut single “Everybody Go” (released in August 2011), and “Good Ikuze!” is 2nd consecutive album since their 1st album “Kis-My-1st” (released in May 2012). Also, “YOSHIO -NEW MEMBER-” is the 2nd consecutive (and 3rd in total), DVD to top the DVD overall ranking.

Member Kitayama Hiromitsu commented, “I felt the great joy of being able to top the charts with the works that we sincerely worked on, and it also made me realize once again that Kisumai could exist because of the fans.”

Fellow member Fujigaya Taisuke also left a comment, “I feel that we are making great history together with our fans. I strongly wish that we will be able to spend unforgettable times more with them by challenging to make many other histories together, and meeting through live concerts.”

[Oricon] JOHNNY’S take triple crown for the first time in 7 years. Kis-My-Ft2 follows KAT-TUN

Kis-My-Ft2’s 7th single “キ・ス・ウ・マ・イ～KISS YOUR MIND～／S.O.S (Smile On Smile)”, 2nd album “Goodいくぜ!” and DVD “YOSHIO -new member-” (Released simultaneously on March 27th) have sold individually; 214,000 copies (single), 222,000 copies (album) and 126,000 copies (DVD) on their first week, topping April 8th weekly sales chart in all three categories.

The same record (in the same 3 categories) has been previously achieved only by Ayumi Hamasaki (October 2000) and KAT-TUN (April 2006). With Kis-My-Ft2 coming in third, after 7 years.

Kisumai has been topping weekly single charts consecutively since their debut single “Everybody Go” (August 2011). Also topping weekly album charts for the second time since “Kis-My-1st” (March 2012). As for their new DVD, it’s the 2nd consecutive DVD to top weekly DVD charts (and 3rd total) since “Kis-My-MiNT Tour at Tokyo Dome 2012.4.8″ (June 2012).
