I see no problem with not liking his work, everyone has their own tastes, but attacking him personally is just wrong. Anyway, it's up to Ayu and Timmy. I respect both their choices and will support them (Plus, anyone who has had a conversation with Timmy will know he is lush lol)

I guess many of us have been ayu fans for years and should have known well enough that ayu loves using particular people at particular times. Simple enough, DAI and HAL in her early career, then BOUNCEBACK, etc. Shuya as a male counterpart of ayu since 2005; kazu dominated her pv/cover shoots between MW and NL; Leslie Kee back and forth the entire time; her dancers featured in her pvs all the time until R'n'RC album pvs, peco and princess... etc. When she are so close to a person and if that person can dance/compose/film/sing, she would definitely hire him/her and work for at least a few years. Sometimes you like the work, sometimes you don't. In the end, I can't deny that ayu is the one making the final decision, and her decisions might not always hit on the right tracks.

I think he's obnoxious and a little too "light on his feet" for me. Sometimes producers are not meant to be artists and should retire to the shadows.

I understand that sometimes it's good to put some personal references when doing music, but sometimes ayu do put a bit too much of her "daily lives" (dunno if I use the correct terms? ) while executing her music production. Like what haikudasai's said, if she uses people wisely, she can just hire timmy to compose and do background vocals, and we dun even need to know who the heck he is except that he's a new composer for ayu. The current problem exists because ayu's using timmy too much and he's all over the places. I dun really find him bad as background vocals. In fact, I like his vocals in RR, hbya, etc. But I feel so weird seeing him in the pvs, and almost feel like it's him featuring ayu (NaNaNa for sure). And judging that he's filming videos for the upcoming tour, I'm sure that he'll be quite heavily featured. I dunno if that's really a good thing or not. Since 2005 ayu has become part of the "ayu team", like she wanna blend in with the dancers, peco and princess (and now timmy), etc. Although now I'm quite used to it, I still miss the time when ayu was the main focus in her music career (say, A Song for xx --> Memorial address era). Even the time when she heavily used dancers in her visual productions, they didn't really get involved in her music (well maybe except Sunrise). I can still listen to music without imagining her crews. This time tho she's like trying to introduce timmy into my imagination when listening to this album. I know it's not timmy's fault, and I dun think ayu doing that is wrong. Somehow it just doesn't work.

Last but not the least... well I dun really like this album. BUT maybe the album is actually pretty good. It's just not my cup of tea, and/or maybe I dun have the "correct feeling" to appreciate the music this time.

I enjoy Timmy's compositions and background vocals and I don't mind if he continues to make contributions to her next couple of albums. That being said, I would prefer if he stays out of Ayu's PVs. I don't appreciate how he dances like a T-Rex

^I think theyt meant t-rex because he has large shoulders and it doesn't really suit his flamboyant attitude. Like T-rexes have a strong body and fierce attitude but tiny little delicate hands. I actually don't dislike the PVs he features into, but he seems so awkward that he ends up taking more of our attention than ayu herself. It doesn't help that he's much taller than her as well. I'm not trying to have prejudice here, but I really find it awkward to see men who are tall, muscular with large shoulders posing the effeminate line, because it really looks kinda confusing LOL I't would feel less akward if he at least cut on the huge fake eyelashes, and if his body moving didn't look like that of a teenager who's growing up fast and they don't seem to find the right balance with their head, neck and postural tone when walking, and that's sort of the impression he gives when he's on act lol

I don't think Timmy's all that bad. Ayu's cousin is also a part of the songs that Timmy's in so I don't think that's worth getting 'angry' over. However, the appearances in PVs are a bit much. It's like... people who have worked with Ayu for ages [her band + chorus] have only appeared as her band/chorus for like two or three PVs during her entire career and in one album, Timmy's already appeared in more than them!

I appreciate his work, and I hope that he does continue to compose for Ayu, just not to the extent that he has been lately. Or if he does, that Ayu doesn't have him in PVs as often.

I think he's quite talented, and that Ayu and him work quite well together.
He's not quite DAI/HAL material to me yet, but who knows, that may change in the future.
