Arashi releases "Fukkatsu LOVE" PV featuring Ikuta Toma

As previously announced, Arashi will be releasing their new single “Fukkatsu LOVE” on Feb 24. The song features lyrics by Takeuchi Mariya and music and arrangement by Yamashita Tatsuro. It is currently used as the CM song for Japanese telecom company NTT Docomo’s dhits CM. The commercial for the app features actor Kubota Masataka.

“Fukkatsu Love” will be the first Arashi single to be distributed via flat-rate music distribution service on smartphones. The app lets you listen to other Arashi songs such as My Girl, Beautiful Days, Aozora Pedal, Typhoon Generation, Fuyu no Nioi, Wasurerarenai, Refrain, Hitori Janai Sa and Kimi ga Waraeru you ni.

According to Sakurai Sho, they requested a song from Yamashita and Takeuchi when they went to their concert in 2013 and they are happy to finally show it to everyone.

Ikuta Toma also makes a guest appearance in the music video. Ikuta recounted that Arashi provided the theme song for his drama “Ouroboros” last year and this time he is in their music video. “Being able to work on something with comrades I’ve known since way back makes me really happy. Also, as a fan of them, I couldn’t be happier to have been able to do so. ”

Not the best PV that ARASHI has made but at least they make up for it in having Ikuta Toma to star in their PV

As I said before , this new single sounds like something KinKi Kids might do

And ironically , for FukkatsuLOVE being described as a love song , ARASHI looks really pissed and bored in the PV o_O

Was that done on purpose or something ? Hopefully the 'live' performances will be better

Yaaay! For the first official drama-related news, for an Arashi member for 2016, so far. I think the last drama of Ohno's I watched was "Kaibutsu-kun", so I hopefully look forward to watching this new drama, as well. Now...if only that MatsuJun spring drama would get confirmed, then my spring's already complete!

Arashi reveals release date for new single

Arashi will be releasing a new single entitled "Fukkatsu LOVE" on February 24!

"Fukkatsu LOVE" is written by Takeuchi Mariya, and composed/arranged by Yamashita Tatsuro.

It has already been selected as the CM song to NTT docomo's 'd Hits' CM.

The single will have a limited edition and a regular edition.

The limited edition will come with a DVD which contains "Fukkatsu LOVE" music video and its making-of video, while the CD will contain 3 tracks (title track, a coupling track + its original Karaoke version). The regular edition will have 8 tracks in total which contain 4 songs including the title track, and original Karaoke version of each song.

Ahh...I'm in love with these covers! (as usual ) The background's so cute, with those city-like buildings & all the guys are looking so handsome in those suits!
