And that was 6-8 years ago !

Now for them to sing cheesy kiddy inspired numbers such as Magic Power , Chau# and Kimi Attraction feels so wrong and extremely embarrassing . All of them are already adults and it's just so to me

Frankly the last single song I really liked from them was Weekender . They need to get better songwriters/composers to work on their material , make their songs less childish sounding and more adult oriented

And when the B-sides sounds way better than the A-sides , something's terribly wrong

I don't want to come to a stage where I ditch supporting them especially since I've done so from 2008 until now but I can't help but feel frustrated on their recent lacklustre sounding songs which don't appeal to me

I have to agree. We need more 'mature' HSJ songs TODAY, not just yesterday!

Hey! Say! JUMP's new single is a summer song about a boy in love

Hey! Say! JUMP's new single "Maji SUNSHINE" will hit stores on May 11.

The title track has already been picked up as the CM song for Kose Cosmeport's "Sun Cut". It's a summer song that describes the feelings of a boy in love.

As the coupling track, Limited Edition 1 will contain Hey! Say! 7's new song "Party Monster", and its DVD will include the PV and making for "Maji SUNSHINE". Meanwhile, the coupling track for Limited Edition 2 will be Hey! Say! BEST's "Speed It Up", and its DVD will include a special footage called "Dai-2-kai Jan Jan Oshiete!! Jan! Jan! JUMQ".

Finally, the Regular Edition will come with "We are Otokonoko!", which is the ending theme for TV Tokyo's "Little Tokyo Life", a new song titled "Eve", and the original karaoke version for each song.

"Yamada Ryosuke to star in upcoming live action movie of "Fullmetal Alchemist."

Popular manga and anime series Fullmetal Alchemist will return to fans in the form of a live action movie! Serialized from 2001 to 2010, the manga was adapted into two anime series, the most recent of which, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, ended with the manga in 2010. Praised as one of Arakawa Hiromu's best works and considered one of the most iconic works in the recent decades, this classic is coming back to us!

Slated for summer 2017, the live action movie will star in its lead role Edward Elric , Yamada Ryosuke from the popular idol group Hey!Say!JUMP. Yamada has also recently starred as the protagonist of the live action adaptation of hit shounen manga series Assassination Classroom.

Hey! Say! JUMP's Inoo Kei to make film debut in Peach Girl adaptation

Hey! Say! JUMP member Inoo Kei and up-and-coming actress Yamamoto Mizuki have been cast in the live-action film adaptation of Ueda Miwa's shojo manga Peach Girl. The film will mark Inoo's silver-screen debut and the first leading role in a romantic feature for Yamamoto, following appearances in films like The Kirishima Thing, Black Butler and Sadako vs. Kayako.

Serialised from 1997 to 2004, Peach Girl revolves around high school student Adachi Momo who is often misunderstood because of her tan skin and dyed red hair. She has only one friend, Sae, who turns out to be the very person spreading unsavoury rumours about her around school. Momo has a crush on classmate Toji, but their relationship hits rough waters due to Sae's sabotage and the appearance of easygoing playboy Kairi who also likes Momo. Inoo will play the role of Kairi in the film.

Peach Girl was previously adapted into a Taiwan idol drama starring Vanness Wu, Annie Wu and Kenji Wu in 2002, and an anime series in 2005. The film will be directed by One Hitoshi, who adapted Bakuman to great success last year, and scripted by Yamaoka Junpei (Kamen Teacher).

Peach Girl begins shooting in late March/early April and is slated for a 2017 release.
