yeah, I remember reading Lena's post about that. it was posted a bit over a month ago, too. I wish we'd get some kind of announcement about the album, though, even if it's just to say it's been delayed or whatever.

Look at the pictures I linked to, they're from t.A.T.u.'s latest (this week) show in Moscow. There is a mysterious CD in one of the shots from Parviz Yasinov's car called "Poyushaya Dusha" ("Singing Soul"). It's been speculated that it's a promo copy of the new album and that the name has been changed from "Upravleniye Otbrosami." Obviously, a name and design change would cause the album to be delayed.

So, is it a test copy? A promo? A total red herring meant to throw us off? Who knows.

LOL. how can it be delayed when there is NO release date set for these new albums?
t.A.T.u. is really starting to get on my nerve with the release of this album. D&M 's release was delayed... but not like this...

Oh! I would like that title. I don't like how their albums (english and russian) overlap so much. Even if the music is still similar, it would be nice to have totally different titles.

I was thinking that POYUSHAYA DUSHA was a band releasing t.A.T.u.'s song or something lol

To be fair, after D&M leaked online like 3 months before it was going to come out... they moved the album up a few weeks (and then blamed that on the poor sales/lack of promo) lol.

It looks like we have a new release date for "Upravleniye Otbrosami" --- September 2, 2008.

The source was (apparently) Soyuz Records and was reported at two Russian music websites. The band's vKontakte (Russian Facebook) page was also updated with a new graphic yesterday (see attachment).

The same sources that quoted the release date also report that the album will include 10 songs. Judging from what we know, the confirmed tracks are probably:

3. Snegopady (Yadom Stat)
4. Chelovechki
5. Vremya Luny
6. You and I
7. Ne Zhaley
8. Upravleniye Otbrosami

This leaves two unannounced songs. It was hinted earlier this year that the Russian album would only have one English song (presumably "You and I"), so if that's true we should expect two new Russian tracks. We do know about the "Poyushaya Dusha" rumor, of course, so that could definitely surface as one of them. Another rumor going around is something translated as "Only Say Not." Some fans over at Taty.ru speculate that "Fly On The Wall" will be included, but I'm not so sure.

"Singing Soul" sounds so awful. If this was old t.A.T.u. I'd say the cd placed in the car is fake, probably to stir rumors and get people a little more intrested. I mean people don't usually just leave something like that where it's visible?

I've kind of lost patients for t.A.T.u. at the moment. I don't even think I'm going to buy this album.

From what I gathered, they got hacked and lost all the data from the past year or so. It's back, but everything's set back to 2007 apart from the sticky threads.
