oh come on people. you guys are way exaggerating things.

nobody has ever expressed that they think Ayu is coming to an end or that she sucks or she's failed or anything near there or they have given up on Ayu. please read carefully. they are just quoting from other random people or examples =/ also, i don't find it any wrong if people felt that the CDL was boring or it was lousy overall. it's afterall their opinion and you have no right to do that unless it comes to things like political views... bah. in my opinion, i didn't enjoy the performance so much so i skipped a few songs in the CDL. it's just like you trying to force everbody to like a particular song from Ayu. get it? =/

they just merely mentioned that the live vocal for certain songs in the CDL was bad. as simple as that. some felt that the CDL was ok. however, there are fans, like me, who felt disappointed once again as she has been constantly delivering not-so-good performances recently. that's why we expressed our views. BUT having said that, WE STILL SUPPORT HER.

no doubt her fanbase has shrunk evidently and i don't really know the exact reason. if i were to analyze from her performances, i guess it's really her inept ability to deliver songs in tune nowadays and i'm worried for her. it's just MY GUESS and i can be wrong. hopefully, it isn't going to affect her in anyways.

i guess all we can do now is to really sit back, and wait for another performance and pray that it's gonna wow us. if not, Asia Tour DVD is going to rock us for sure.

everyone is so defensive and on edge about this. love it or hate it, it is what it is. why does a disagreement of opinions have to turn into such a big train wreck of bickering? it's ok to have your own opinion, but while having that opinion, it's also important to be respectful of other's opinions as well, no matter how different they may be from your's. you can attempt to convince them of your point of view, but personal attacks on a person's character moves further away from the point.

i think those who didn't like this concert have every right to their opinion. i can definitely see where they are coming from. some songs her vocals were totally off, mainly on the older songs. she seems off key, in my opinion. and i mean that literally, not as some attack on ayu's person. however, there were a good number of songs where she was dead on key as well.

why do is everyone being so forceful with their opinions? it's just a subjective judgment, there is no right or wrong, no true or false. we should all be a little bit more respectful of each other. we are all, in the end, human aren't we?

@ParaParaAkuma: Yeah, I guess so.

But things just get so heated when it comes to Ayu! :O

You are right.

And you, truehappiness, you indeed want to have the last word here and the strongest opinion and only go <3 at the positive comments and slap the ones who comment negatively. You should've made your thread like "share good comments on CDL here <333333333"

You are pissed off with me for supposedly hammering on ayu all of the past year, well you know nothing. You think you're so big and fabulous here, well you're not. Yeah now I AM getting nasty, cos you push people's patience so much.
But I'm not big and fabulous here. I'm just a normal user at AHS with stuff to say.

Now to go off to find evidence!

I actually think Ayu's vocals go by yearly basis. I didn't like her 2004 vocals much, 2005 and 2006 were hit and miss, I thought part of 2007 was decent.

And Ayu, please please get rid of your backup singers, pretty please?

Stop contradicting yourself.

And I think that I myself would know that most of my opinions are formed based on others' opinions, and it's not just like, "OMG LIEK I R RIGHT SO I WILL KILL U WITH THIZ."

Ugh, I'm looking for more stuff to quote. :|

Yeah i think quoting and replying is the best thing you do, i'm not surprised about your post count anymore, i see the reason now.

Aren't you the type to get people on the right way, or should i say your way. In case you're not aware since 2003 as i see, it's a FORUM, and we all post our thoughts and opinions. Isn't it the right thing to do??

Yes, but it seems that some of the "opinions" here are unjust.

Quoting and replying is the only way to SAY anything on this forum. Jeez. LOL My postcount is high because I like discussing Ayu. What's wrong with that?

I'm agreeing with weix2. This topic definitely needs to be closed. No one is getting anything out of this argument. Unless you count bickering as something important.

Or at least change the title, because our thoughts has never been welcomed here.
Of course thoughts have been welcome, both for and against. But you can't expect someone NOT to contest what you say and engage you in a debate about it. THAT'S what a forum is about, too.

It was not a debate, and i'm sorry about it. It was that we were wrong because WE thought that this live was not good.

No, it's because you thought WE were wrong because we thought this live was good, and you didn't. As you said before:

By the way, for this CDL, i just can say that I found it absolutely boring, very flat, without any good moments, maybe only the untitled one, and i begin to wonder if any of you except UHPlus and others have good EARS, because most of the show was Off notes and hard to listen and watch, even with FAN-EYEs. I will definitely not buy this DVD even if i know that it will be a lot better vocaly, cause of editing. This show doesn't get me any interest anymore. And yes, it's obvious that the Step you part is pre-recorded, i've really heard the SAME one before.
Don't act like you're the victim here. Please. You are far from it. Accusing others of not being able to hear simply because they think that the show was good/easy to watch.. :\

I repeat myself again, but i've said that i wrote my first post mostly because i didn't agree with you and others who couldn't stop hardly contradict the one who thought this live was bad. I'm not here to create conflicts or whatever, i agree that maybe i shoud not have written the ears thing, but it was it was so obvious for me that the people that have said that this CDL was vocally AMAZING, and there were a lot of them, had ears problems.

You didn't say those kinda things, and you saw most of the vocal problems in your first post, so i was sort of weird that you were supporting ONLY the one that Thought this Live was vocally wonderful.

When did I ever say it was vocally wonderful? I think you misunderstand my arguments. The vocals were very mediocre, but so what? That didn't lower energy or performance level for me, as well as for other people.

I believe there were also others who believed Ayu had done a good job with this CDL DESPITE her vocals, but they got overshadowed by those of you who decided it was trash. I don't think I'm trying to force you to change your opinion, just stating that you are singling me out as someone who liked the CDL, and not collectively including everyone who did enjoy it to some extent.

I can't speak for anyone else but myself here, but I didn't think anyone was wrong for not like Ayu's vocals during this performance. I thought the way some of them chose to express that particular opinion was dead wrong, but in general it's fine to think that.

I think people may have gotten worked up about this on BOTH sides, but that in general there's just a lot of hyper-sensitivity running around from people who disliked or liked how she performed: and that's what's leading to a lot of this mess. If people would be more careful with how they worded things, I don't think there'd be HALF as many arguments as there are on this board... :/

yes. As much as I love this cdl, I also didn't think her vocals were good if you compare to her preview concerts. (well maybe except for best of cdl) Everyone is entitled to their opinions and it is definitely not wrong to say Ayu's vocals were bad...but the wordings that some of the users here used, that showed their dislike towards the concert and especially her vocals weren't that good and bit too harsh and exagerated. I went to other ayu forums and honestly majority of the ppl didn't like her vocals and thought they were bad too just like here but they were much better putting their opinions into words unlike here where some ppl can say pretty harsh things.

Hey, does anyone happen to have the part of this CDL performance where Ayu comes out (right after "Glitter' and then the ayu trance bit), and starts chatting for awhile with the band members, translated? It'd be great if I knew what they were saying to eachother

I'll just watch it when I download all the parts of the ISO of GUILTY DVD. I'm very curious about it but I have to wait more, lol.

I'm only to "Together When..." right now, so I don't know about other lip syncs, if any exist, but, if you have the song from GUILTY on your HDD, at point [2:31/2:32] (that's 2 minutes, 32 or 31 seconds), there is a distinct part where a guitar goes off for just a simple second, and if you then watch the TV-version CDL performance (because that's the one I downloaded from a torrent), the exact same thing happens at the exact same time. But, I know this was mentioned up above in the thread somewhere but only a very small bit - she could just be creating her own vocal track to the album's "Together When", you know. Same thing goes for any of the other claims of lip syncs. But anyway, even if she did lip sync some of her songs, I give her credit. As someone else has mentioned, she's been known to go out and perform when completely exhausted and even when ill, so I think she reserves the right to lip sync a few songs here and there. Anyway, just my $.02.

The little guitar thingie where it's like "DOOT DOOT" really quickly?

Doesn't Yocchan play it? If this were a TV performance like for MS or HEYx3, it'd be understandable, but every instrument heard that can be made is live at her concerts..
