I wonder if that's true or made up. It seems really ridiculous to me to replace a bath for 15k, if you're not a long time resident. You basically have to start a construction site in the bathroom. Inconvinient. If it's true it makes Ayu look very divaish.

It is true. In the documentary, it showed the staff reacting to her demand of a hot tub being installed, and of the construction of it in her chosen suite.

I'm sure it's true and they have little reason to lie about it; I mean if they said "A guest" asked for that then it's one thing but to name someone and then turn out it wasn't true... Well, that kind of thing wouldn't be in their interest.

In any case, if they turned an entire third floor practically into a villa for a short stay of Royalty replacing the bath is not sooo bad haha.

Yeah, I'm sure Ayu paid for it. I doubt a hot tub renovation is included in the standard room fee

i dont think its that ridiculous. The woman knows what she wants when she wants it. If she has the money to burn and the hotel says fine... their should be no problem.
Besides, after they charged her for that nice little upgrade they can just turn around and start charging people more for the same room because now it features a brand new tub... lol

Funnily enough, when the hot tub was installed, the staff went to see it and test it etc, and said it was hotel policy to test all new installments fully before letting a guest use them. Then they laughed about someone having to have a bath in it as part of their duties before she arrived.

Claridges is infamous for accommodating guests, no matter how stupid or extravagant their request is. It was probably chosen for Ayu's stay with that in mind.
