Although Hope is upbeat and fun, I can’t stop feeling sad when I listen to it.
I have a similar situation with Contrail.

The teasers are cool. Surprised NEVER END is not included.
It makes me think Finally (the song) might become super popular because of the situation with the retirement. Glad I love it!

I'm so eager to listen to some of the new recordings! Reently I've been obssesed with Dr. what an amazing track.
Btw, i've read some articles saying this is a fake retirement to fill up her debts with her discography (dont know which debts) and that she will come back in 2 years. Obviously I dont think it's true but just wanted to let you know those articles does exist.
Also, i've been thinking bout cutting my hair down the day of the retirement. Not that they are too related but I've been thinking about cutting it some time, so why not adding more drama to that day? Lol

There is this thing going on where fans want to buy ALARM single to give it a TOP10 spot, since it is the only single not to hit the TOP10. But is the physical single still being produced?

STYLE only got 1 single included... it’s a pity, I would enjoy Come to be included with new recording (after all Inu Yasha theme song).
I would appreciated also Wishing on the same star, just to have a recorded version with proper “wishing” pronunciation

So has anyone noticed that with the Namie's Movie things that they are intermittently releasing for the 25th Anniversay, it has on the upcoming schedule this month her fan club tour from 2001. I'm trying not to get my hope up too much that it will be the whole thing.


Also upcoming TV events that are being aired: MTV is doing a history of her music videos across three days 11/3 to 11/5 and then on 11/5 they are airing a special that looks like it's going to contain all of her past MTV performances. Will be so nice to get those in HD, especially if they include all the Suite Chic lives that were done for MTV.

That's amazing. Fingers crossed for the full videos, though I wouldn't put it past Avex to release digests and then a box set of the rare lives that nobody can afford. I wonder if they'll ever re-release the fanspace version of the Break the Rules 2001 live(?), the one with HimAWArI...

That's what I'm thinking is likely to happen. Well, at least now we will have proof that videos of those lives do exist. lol

I wouldn't mind a ton of box sets with interesting and unreleased material. And hopefully the retirement will bring us some remix albums in the future.

lol I'm pretty sure they taped every show, at least for quality control/improvement purposes. (It's possible they didn't, but I'm pretty sure it's standard practice to do so) Whether they are in good enough quality for a dvd or blu ray is another question... Worst case they do what they did for the Power of Music extras and use the footage from the screens.

I have very old footage of her Best Singles 2004 that was broadcast on TV somewhere. It's not the dvd version, it was either from a different Japan live or from a different leg of the tour she did in another country.

@Toniayu I totally wouldn't mind the box sets of un released stuff (though it would be nice if they'd have an option to buy separately from some giant collection [same with Ayu's stuff] since I'd much rather be able to fill in the gaps rather than having to buy doubles of stuff]).

Though of course this is all purely speculation :p
