Avex should have lowered the price tag like EMI to attract sales. Good marketing technique I think.

I'd say take away that Remix and then lower the price tag.

I wonder which of the 4 formats is gonna sell the most...

I'm guessing the CD+DVD... Since I don't if DVD-Audio or SACD are good in Japan...

um also, hikki doesn't really have singles with long tracklists. So it's kinda like her fans don't expect to have say a track list like & or A, but for someone who buys lots of ayu singles this might be a change ..eh who knows....

Nope! Her last japanese song was GREAT! people who didn't get impressed by it weren't just enjoying ballads at the moment it was released or put way too much expectation awaiting for something very complex yet Hikki came with something simple, nice and smooth to listen to.

It was a FINAL DISTANCE wannabe, I thought the song was nice, but it still didn't impress me, and Moments was a fave at that time so I can't say I wasn't enjoying ballads.

I do like the idea of the lowering of price, just cause...well...I'm a cheap bugger.

Moments was perfect! However, even though Moments and "dareka no..." are ballads they are 2 completely different ballads. Moments is a power ballad, with loads of guitar and an upbeat feeel even though it is a ballad. "Dareka no...." was a slow ballad, the feature of the song is its simplicity. There are momments I'd rather be listening to something simple but nice to listen to then a complex song overloaded with a bunch of different instruments. Ayu usually likes to overcrowd her songs with lots of instruments but some of her simple songs can be pretty nice to listen to as well like "teddy bear". I wouldn't mind ayu doing a song like that in the near future, I really like easy to listen songs.

Yup face the fact people NO 'About You'! At least that means there'll be and album coming up. This well darn be a full album!!! I'm thinking this song HAS to be composed by CREA+DAI because if it was done by someone else it would ruin the Summer Ballads Tradition i.e. Dearest...Voyage...forgiveness ALL CREA+DAI!! This HAS to be CREA+DAI or I'll be sad ;_; hehehe hmm I wonder if there'll be another single after 'CAROLS'. I'm hoping there won't be so she can surprise us with a huge full-lenght album with lots of new material and maybe some PVs for the album tracks ^__^.

Technically...'No way to say' was her pre-album ballad, which was done by BOUNCEBACK...

I wouldn't bet on PVs though personally , just because M.A had it doesn't mean she's have it this time (I meant it as it, don't get your hopes up). We might get one or 2 PVs on the first press if we're lucky I'd say.

Eh I wasn't thinking about 'No way to say' just the ballads she had around Summer time like 'CAROLS'. 'Dearest', 'Voyage', and 'forgiveness' were all released August-Sept-ish and were all done by CREA+DAI. Eek hopefully she won't have those stupid presses where you buy the first edition which comes with 2 PVs and the regular press has a different cover and extra song... Oh gawd don't turn into Johnny's, Avex!!! I'm broke from them as it is.
