I really don't want to hear dance-ish music from Samii. REALLY. I can get that from other artists - I want Samii to be herself, just not with BORING music. You can make a song boring in any style of music... dance-ish electronic-ish music can sound boring and all-the-songs-sound-the-same SO easily, I find it almost harder to digest than what she's currently releasing if it's badly done. What I really want is to hear more traditionally influenced songs like Tabibito and Hyaku Renka, since I find them beautiful and match her well, or just spice her songs up with something other than the traditional stuff, but still. Not a change of style, a change of QUALITY. Please T_T

single's at no. 50 today. wonder if it can outsell "issho ni" at this point.

I've only heard one song by Shiina, so I can't really compare, but, to me, Satomi always sounds congested or, like, she's singing through her nose. she didn't always sound like that, though - in her girl group days and even at her pre-debut live at Rhythm Nation she sounded pretty normal... somewhere between December '06 and June '07, her voice got funky, lol.

I think I'm probably just used to nasal high-pitched voices, and Samii sings a bit lower...
I really like her singing, but then again, I like nasal voices XD

'Mou Ichido Hajimeyo' is a nice song. I just love Samii's little high notes every now and then in her songs XD It's cute

As for the 'Arigatou' remix, it's nice too.

This single was very nice IMO. I actually enjoyed 'Mou Ichido Hajimeyo' more than 'Arigatou'. I didn't care for the remix all that much :/...

Anyway, I still don't like Arigatou at all. The remix is... a bite better... I guess.
Mou Ichido Hajimeyou is 10000x better than Arigatou, but it's still totally forgettable .______.

I'm repeating myself here, but I'll say it again: I don't think they'll keep going down this path if her sales stay that bad. So I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY looking forward to her next single, let's see what she's got under her sleeve.

I agree that the single quality deserves those sales; the a-side does at least.

I'm still (hopelessly, I pretty much know it ain't gonna happen) gunning for her to release some kind of electro-pop/dance track, but, really, just about anything would be better than "arigatou."

^You know, the first time you mentioned it, I felt strongly against her releasing electropop/dance music, but what you said is true- anything would be better than Arigatou

So I don't think I'd mind it anymore.

^Her debut single is her highest selling one so far, actually it sold quite well: around 40k.
Her singles after that all sold around 10k, except for Issho ni (I think it sold between 3k and 5k? don't remember...)

Ermm wow, I mean this wasn't that great of a single but I expected it to sell at least 2000+. Well what can I say? The single was a bit weak, but I still enjoyed 'Mou Ichido Hajimeyo'
