I think Perfume ultimately will diversify with slower songs, but I still don't think that Negai and 11:30 are the "correct" ideas of slow songs. I think their slow songs should be like Baby Cruising Love or Macaroni type songs. Their b-sides have been pretty lacklustre lately (with the exception of edge), and I actually hope they exclude them from the album!

I personally like 23:30 better (because it has a bit of the Take Me Take Me slowness going on there) and Negai rocks for its piano ending, but both songs still kind of failed to sustain much interest in me. The more and more I think about it, based off of Perfume's other songs, I'm afraid what we hear in the preview of "NIGHT FLIGHT" is basically the entire song excluding the verses, which really aren't what you listen to Perfume for anyway. It's all about the choruses and being that we've heard it, I'm not expecting anything new in the full song. Hopefully it has a Music Video and that serves as something to look forward to.

Everytime I see that this thread has new comments I come in here expecting a full leak to be posted.

The problem, for me, is how robotic they sound. Sure they've been robotic since Yatsuka but it is all wrong in "Negai" and "23:30". It's too appearant. They didn't sound or didn't sound too robotic in "Baby cruising love" and "Macaroni". Well, for "23:30" I think the tempo could be the issue. Very lounge, laid back. Add in robo voices and it's 5 minutes long, there's your recipe for fail.
