Wow, thread #18. alan's pretty popular at AHS ^^

I haven't heard a whole lot of her music but I really like Kuon no Kawa and Gunjou no Tani. What other songs do you guys recommend that follows the same thread of those?

well, you should totally try Ashita e No Sanka, it was her first single and has a stunning chorus! basically, all her songs have SOME similarity to the two you mentioned, its just kind of her genre, i think you should just try going through her singles or download her VOICE of EARTH album

Cool, thanks. Are there any more songs like in Gunjou no Tani where she plays that one Tibetan instrument (erthu?)?

true to a certain extent

now if only she can put out more upbeat tunes instead of ballads T_T

I'm not saying that I don't like her ballads but sooner or later , people might start to pigeon hole as a ballad or even worst wedding singer

I personally feel alan can belt upbeat no.s just as well as her ballads

I don't want to see her becoming another Aoyama Thelma (where she has been releasing nothing but ballads since her 2nd single onwards

the only thing that gave me hope was the fact that BRAVE was upbeat...

it's no surprises that I count BRAVE as my fave album track on VoE other than my friend , Yume no Garden & Together that I like

but yeah I'm surprised that there's virtually no form of angsty driven songs that alan hasn't delivered yet

I look forward to the day where she release 'burst out in anger' songs

the rest are too erm angelic sounding , just like her

& eee her makeup in Kaze no Tegami is
