I frankly don't mind to pay S$888 to see ARASHI's concert (that's the most ex price that Rain charged when he came to S'pore to perform 2 years ago :O) since it's once in a lifetime opportunity chance to see the guys in performance (SHOULD THAT EVER HAPPEN LAH)

but for an album nah . OS presses are good enough for me

Arashi's Aiba stars in television drama

Arashi member Masaki Aiba (26) is set to take on his first lead role in a drama series this fall. He will star in TV Asahi's "My Girl," his first series since "Yankee Bokou ni Kaeru" in 2003.

Aiba, who is more known for appearing in variety shows than in dramas, said that he wants to show his fans a "completely different Masaki Aiba" from his usual self.

"My Girl" is based on a manga by Mizu Sahara (an alternate pen name of mangaka Sumomo Yumeka), currently being serialized in Shinchosha's Weekly Comic Bunch. The comic is described as an "ultimate love story" about a young man named Masamune Kazama (Aiba). During high school, he had a girlfriend four years older than him, but she suddenly left one day. Six years later, he receives news that she has passed away. In addition, she secretly gave birth to Masamune's child, whom he finally meets and decides to raise.

TV Asahi will broadcast "My Girl" in its Friday 11:15pm time slot, starting in October.

jun was rumored for the monday9pm timeslot with oguri shun. why didn't they add that in?

same with ohno too. if i have to watch 3 dramas all in one season, that'd be perfect for me. imagine a triple a-side single for aiba/jun/and ohno's dramas? LOL.

It's been so long. I've only seen him act in PPOI and PIKANCHI movies and that drama SP in 2006! I can't wait for his lead role~

but yeah the plot of My Girl sounds really depressing but positive if you look at it in different angles

eh does this mean the guys will be contributing the theme song for his drama ?!?!?

i hope they don't do the theme song! they need a break! i don't want my boys to get too exhausted.

Plus, I doubt they'll put out a single only two months after their best album.

I'm sure they will in either October or November to commemorate their 10th anniversary. Especially considering that normally you would think that their Best of album would have been released at that time, but instead August was chosen as the release and they don't have any concert dates in October. I'm definitely thinking double or even triple A-side if all of these drama rumors come true.

btw, the My Girl plot sounds really sweet and it will be interesting to see Aiba play a father.

^That's true. I didn't think of that! ><; Their anniversary is in Novemeber and these dramas are supposed to be out around then. That'd be a good way to capitalize on it.

i think since "Everything" isn't included on "ALL the BEST!", that will be the first single for the original album (i'm not saying it's coming soon or anything, lol).

but honestly, singles-wise, i think they're good for the year. they've been releasing non-stop, from what it seems like. i think they should focus on 10th anniversary tour & then maybe think about a new single.

yeah it really depends on what J Storm thinks at the end of the day

I'm quite sure that the guys have a say on what to put out & etc to a certain extent

omg I just realise that they haven't released their Arashi Marks DAL tour yet on DVD @_@

I wonder does this mean it will not see the day & light of release ?
