I <3 Ke$ha. Which is funny because when I first heard Tik Tok I laughed and vowed never to listen to something so stupid ever again. 6 months later I caught the fever and now I can't get enough.

I used to think that Ke$ha was nothing more than a brainless, eternally drunk floozy who was enjoying her 15 minutes of fame when she released "TiK ToK," but now I realize that she's actually a talented, smart musician who knows how to make a seriously catchy song. That's not easy to do. I think she's still widely misunderstood as a bimbo, but people should realize that she's just trying to have fun and that having fun doesn't necessarily involve drugs, alcohol, and sex according to her. "Animal" and "We R Who We R" are full of empowerment, and Ke$ha shows that she's not using her songs to glorify alcoholism or anything of the sort. She's just telling people both to be and to enjoy themselves. Sorry if you already knew this. Just wanted to get this out there.

^ Thanks for that post :] Some people really misunderstand her. They just assume everything is about drinking and sleeping with random men. When it's not even like that. She has some really nice heartbreak songs too (The Harold Song, Blind, Dancing With Tears in My Eyes). idk what it is about Ke$ha, but her music just works lol. I still hate the lyrics to Shots, but I like everything else about it.
