I think Namie is going to reach 400,000 in sales in relatively no time! And the fact that she reached the number 2 spot in world sales is amazing! I can't wait to see the tour for this album as well. I wonder if any of the artists that she's collaborated with will be able to perform with her at some of the concerts.

It could just be me being pessimistic, but I kinda doubt that Namie's upcoming tour is a Checkmate! tour. So far I've only heard it as being an arena tour and that's it, but I think it would be super awesome if she did have artists she collaborated with perform with her in concert.

ANYWAY. I'm glad Checkmate! is doing so well!! At first the only song I liked was "make it happen" (out of the new songs I mean) but then a few others started to grow on me.

Seriously though. If she thinks this counts as her "once in a blue moon" album that we normally get from her, she can think again!! WE WANT A REAL ALBUM!!!

Namie will probably put out another studio album near the end of this year or very early next year. She loves touring and needs a reason to do so.

I'm more wondering if we'll get a new single before then.

Anyway, I can't believe the sales are closing in on 400k. I'm completely flabbergasted. Congrats to Namie.

On the other hand I agree with MemorialAddress, if this release counts as a "once in a blue moon" album then I'll be very sad since this release did nothing for me. But you know what they say, "don't count your chickens before they hatch".

i think every artist has their own charm in doing their concert shows..
namie is a shy person, that's why she interacts not so much with the audience..there for it's only involve dancing and singing..and she puts herself more effort into both those aspects.. it's like i can see the extravagant shows in Ayu's concert but less dance from her..and i could see lot of dancing on Namie..even though her concept tour is that simple..and both give me great shows in their own charms and specialty =))

if namie ever get to tour with those artists whom she collaborate with..that would be awesome...but i think it can't be happening.. too many artists to involve. and the tight schedules from each~
