Birthday has managed to grow on me a quite a bit, i found it waaay too generic at first but it's actually a rather cute song.
She looks so beautiful in the video, her smile makes my heart melt

But i can't at her going back and forth with her lip syncing like that, it makes it seem disorientated. Other than that, the video seems decent!

I had a moment last night where I realised "Hey, why don't I make a playlist of Sweet 19 Blues with the original versions of Body Feels Exit and You're My Sunshine?".

Although the album has grown on my in recent years, I find it a drag to listen towards the end when I knew the combo of the You're My Sunshine (Hollywood Mix) and Body Feels Exit (Latin House Mix) are coming up.

Now it's sounding amazing! I'm really enjoying the early 90s R&B vibe tonight!

I'm trying to let the light in and like the song. But I just can't. It's not like it's boring or anything. As much as I don't wanna say this but it kinda sounds like a messier rehash of Katy Perry's "Birthday". It's as if it's been done before but better. (I can't understand Namie that much either in this song and some of the lyrics are igniting my grammar ocd but I can't even understand her sometimes in Japanese so this point doesn't count.)

Maybe it'll grow on me. Maybe not. Can You Feel This Love never grew on me. La La La never did either. Whatever. Photogenic better sleigh.
