It officially charted longer than talkn' 2 myself and the same as glitter/fated although I am sure we can expect it to sell at least another thousand during the next 2 weeks. And I just realized it's only 4000 more to outsell FREAKY, which charted for 15 weeks. (I am hoping that the goodies AVEX is giving out on the last 2 dates will boost the sales a bit)

Woot! It's still charting! Freaky had 3 b-sides so it's incredible, the sales compared to MW. Anyway, Kumi's 2008 singles r not charting so hot. If it's really due to her tactless comment, then that's really a pity. (Hope ayu knows better than to make tactless comments!)

^ I think Ayu's been around for too long and knows too much to make comments like these. She's done it before, after all, in one of her concerts around 2003-ish I think.

What was it about the handicap rumour? Kumi really ought to have known better but this reaction is totally overblown. I mean what's it compared to what sharon stone said? And I think MW will continue charting since there're 2 concerts coming up in tokyo =)

Well it's seems MOON will sell somewhere around Ai no uta in the end, so I really doubt that it has something to do with the comment, just that she is losing her popularity which is quite natural for the kind of music she does.
Anyhow I am really happy to see that MW is doing great, considering everything, and I am hoping the next single will at least sell as much.

Yeah what does it take for female singers to keep their popularity these days... JE have been churning out songs that sound the same year after year and their singers are still popular. I want ayu to hang in there for many more years to come. MW looks like a great start to her 10th anni and beyond!

I agree, it seems that female and solo artists in general have a harder time keeping their fans.

This is funny. I always thought that Ayu's #1 streak will end now after this release, but it didn't and now it's selling even more than talkin' 2 myself did. I'm so gonna laugh at myself now. <3

But it's good that Mirrorcle World is being sold, because it's awesome single anyway. And I hope that MW will reach 200k. <3 But I'm hoping for the summer single already, because Ayu's summer songs are so wonderful~ :3
