I just looked through the LL2 photobook. So many amazing pictures. She looks really classy and effortly beautiful in most of them lol.

hey guys i made a translation from the booklet of "J-pop meets classics HARMONY hitomi melody". It is a re-arrange version of hitomi musics into orchestra/classic tune.

not sure if you are interested, but i was bored and please do excuse my bad english. There's some part that i dont even understand what it is about, (ie like the "frog song" wtf?)

this song is produced by a very popular producer, the original song is full filled with melodies.
it is quite a popular way for recent music to add the melody first and remix it, and this song has the same way too. i remain the 70s style music of this song. for the the rhythm, i used irish violin playing way, in order to beautify the whole orchestra. it is surrounded with european unique atmosphere

INNOCENCE
A prelude with Burt Bacharach style, with quaver notes for the whole song. The arrangement for recent music is quite frustrating, for example, a phrase of "SoSoSoSoSoSoFaFaMiMiReReDo" has to be changed to a more simple wat - "SoFaMiReDo~". But i still respect the original song, everyone shouldtry to listen our version

LOVE2000
The original song has a feeling like "flying through wind". I try to use symphony's style music to represent the feeling. Technically, because of many repeating verse and chorus, I made a lot of difference in each verse, in order not to sound boring

SAMURAI DRIVE
The distortion of the guitar in the original song and hitomi's voice making the whole song very impressive. In classical music, it is very difficult to make those aggressive notes. We used a a little bit of 4th and 5th octave higher notes to decorate the chorus, making the song full of oriental theme. But in the same time we didnt forget to add some "english knight"'s feel into it. The song ended with the blend of the oriental and western samurai.

Understanding
A string quartet id the base of a classical music. 4 people listen to each other and present a perfect music. First, the first violinist plays a melody and continued by the other performer. There's some echo in the middle of the song, there's also a little bit of changing the rhythm, performing gently until the end of the song

Little More
Since the beginning of the song has a very beautiful rhythm, therefore i arrange it into a indoor symphonic style, in a very original way. This is a very beautiful music, it sounds like the background music of a movie. I was amazed by the result of the arrangement.

IS IT YOU?
The original song has a very thick guitar melody and the speacial voice hitomi has, making the whole song very impressing. When performing, I used strings to represent the thickness of the melody. I was kind of shocked that it is still sound very good even though it lacks of percussion and other "complete orchestra" music instrument.

Kodoku no Sora
It feels like an English slow tempo song. It is still rearranged as a slow tempo song, and played by 5 piano. But don't forget to geel the sound of violin and cello in it, performed by the professional European performers.

kimi ni KISS
A very glamour song, and thus, i re-arrange it into a full symphonical orchestra music. Even though it is hard to represent a rock tune in a classical music, but I feel the result is kinda good. The music nowadays is made by computer, if it is played by a real instrument, it has quite a different taste. Therefore, please listen to it in different way.

The melody is easy to remembered. In this way, I used violin to play the main melody and slowly, add in clarinet, french horn and viola. It feels like performing "the song of frog".

Well, she never has been one to release very often. Combine the fact that her past few albums have been a few years apart with the fact that she just had a baby about a year ago... She's probably just spending time with her kid, so the next release is a little delayed, I suppose? ^_^ It has been about a year since a release, though, so we should be hearing something from her in the next few months... I hope!
