It's not like avex can't afford it, and it's not like they would hide away money from Ayumi Hamasaki, still a top-selling artist, just for the hell of it. I loved the hair mask at one point, with its hand exploding into fire, it was so good! And did any of you notice that at one certain point, there's one of these robots or androids under a huge fireball (it looks like the sun from upclose), and the fire is almost falling/touching him, and at the same time, ayu sings something like "my memories were falling over me...". Maybe the explosions are like memories, or feelings? I think the robots suffering/scaping are being chased by memories from the past that make them unable to rest?

It's not just the trees or the set that looks cheap.. I dunno it's just the way it's done :S Her dress isn't glowing nicely, you can see the exact spot where they put light bulbs in it. I dunno they could've added some sort of.. blur or glow or something? To make the dress look more even and not like a home-decorated christmas tree.

I don't know how to explain but it just look like the director thought "Okay lets not edit this PV since we're out of budget byeee!"

[But the song TOTALLY makes up for it, god I love this song so much and the covers are brilliant as well!! If I like the BALLAD PV as much as the covers, all is forgiven. lol]

the pv is stunning.
artistically this is the best pv of her to date.
how the the light fades from a scene to another, the styrofoam trees, and i really like the uses of lightning in clothes for her and the dancers, and of course the fire!
the costumes are impeccable. love the dancer's headgears and masks, particularly the face-shaped hair in 2:29! all of this is just wow! definitely stunning.

You were PV is like one of the best ballads PV ever! it has idea and concept. Who called it cheap?? O.o It costed more than Sunrise and Sunset all together I'm sure! And this PV has a lot of symbols, just go and think on the meaning. All these dancers hiding their faces, brain, unreal trees and snow, teddy bear, darkness, sparkles - everything has meaning here and not random at all.

Gosh, even with a winter ballad she just had to have her dancers in the PV didn't she? XD They didn't actually bring anything much in the PV though. Actually, they seemed really random. Their outfits are too out-there and some even robotic-like (there's even fire!)... which is too much of a contrast to Ayu's parts.

In the other hand, Ayu looks beautiful in the PV. Too bad we didn't saw her too well since the lighting was so low so that her dress can glow in the dark.

The people in this thread really make me laugh. People are saying it doesn't connect to the lyrics, if you look at the lyrics whilst watching, you would see it connects flawlessly.

The set of the trees and road did look a bit cheap, but really, the rest of it was packed with special effects and intricate costumes so I'm not sure why everyone is calling it "low-budget"///
