TVXQ won the first place in Japanese Oricon Monthly Ranking Chart by sale results of only five days!
TVXQ released their 29th single “BREAK OUT!” on January 27th. And it was announced to have taken
the first place of the monthly sale ranking of January 2010 only in five days.

And also it marks TVXQ to be:
(1) The top of the Oricon single day ranking chart,
(2) The top of the Oricon weekly ranking chart,
(3) And also the top of the Oricon monthly ranking chart! (*Only In five days! )

Though album publicity work was not performed due to the conflict with the SM entertainment,
TVXQ suppressed the Japanese famous artists and placed such results. ^^

Japanese entertainment company Oricon reported on Feb. 2 that TVXQ’s 29th single “Break Out” had sold over 256,000 copies since its release on Jan. 27 and predicted that the song would still be No. 1 by the time its new rankings are released on Feb. 8. According to Oricon, that breaks the record for number of albums sold in the first week after its release. The record was previously held by Elton John, whose single “Candle in the Wind” sold 184,000 copies in Japan in the first week after its release.

Three TVXQ members - Xiah Jun-su, Micky Yoo-chun and Hero Jae-joong - have been in the middle of a contract dispute with their management agency, S.M. Entertainment, since last summer.

Meanwhile, the group is planning to release a greatest hits album titled “Best Selection 2010.”

Congrats to our boys They deserve this succes, especially now that they even didn't promote the single (only in magazines) It shows their power and Cassiopeia/Bigeast power I can't wait for the new records with their Best album

They should do a song together If you compare You were/Ballad sales with Break Out sales, it's just depressing for Ayu They sold like 100,000 more and Ayu's single was released a month earlier It would help her sales if they would sing a song together

TVXQ should do a cover album... I can imagine them singing my favorite ballads... Ayu's Days & Dearest, Kuu's you, Ai no uta & Moon Crying, Ai Otsuka's Daisuki da yo., Planetarium... omg

even Ayu talked to the boys (well it was Jae who made the 1st move), I've been dead too~ OMG...

anyway i feel for Ayu too.. but i'm happy for Toho too..
i mean Ayu has been in the music industry for like 10 years and i think it's very normal that her sales isn't the greatest like she ever did before, moreover, it's the boyband era, so yeahh! I'm happy enough that Ayu could still be able on the ranking.. that shows she is still LOVED by lots of ppl

oh well, both Ayu and Toho FIGHTOOo!!

i hope TOHO' s 1st album will sell very well!!

Her sales are not really all that depressing. Sure her single was released a month before their but remember this, she is a female artist whose popularity passed its peak and even so she still sells well then other female artists. TVXQ on the other hand is a male group with thousands of fangirls and whose popularity is still increasing.

I got my BREAK OUT! single! My card was Yunho lol. oh God I'm not really happy with it... (don't kill me) lol. I just yeah... wish I got Junsu lol. Anyone willing to trade?

I'm not saying the sales are depressing I was just shocked by the sales I usually don't follow sales, so don't kill me

@ waterballoon: sorry, I have Jaejoong and I'll NEVER EVER trade that card My friends were already mad, because I have a JJ card I don't know which they have, because I still have to give them the CD's
