Ok so I heard the new album & I must say I enjoy alot. Much better than Trick in my opinion. Trick is to bubblegum-ish to me. I can say I only liked 5 songs on that album. Universe I can actually play the entire Cd without skipping a track. It ranks high on my top Ku albums now.

I really don't like what she did to Moon Crying (don't kill me) @_@....it's my favorite Kumi song of all time...and some parts of the song became almost unrecognizable...too much wailing...it's like some sort of unintentional reference to alan...

Man, I wish she could sing Ningyo Hime better. One of my favourite songs, but.. She always seems to mess it up a bit. >_< (Then again, guess I can't blame her. It's very deep, so she needs to use her lower register the entire time, which is something she's not very good with. --Sounds sloppy. >.<')

Also, I'm so glad to hear you guys are actually liking Get It On. That song is freakin' amazing, lol.

One of my favourites, actually. (Probably third best from ~second session~.

cos it was the 1st time that they did not get #1 for a full week on Oricon due to Yusuke's Himawari

so yeah the same thing's happening for Kumi's case . avex don't want her to lose the #1 spot D:

I'm quite happy with UNIVERSE as an album. I think I like TRICK better, but this album definitely has some great tracks. I love No Way, Step Into My World, and Universe, as well as all the singles. Stay is dumb, and that version on Moon Crying is a waste of a track, imo. But yeah, the beat in Comes Up is seriously the same as the beat in Namie's "Baby Don't Cry". I knew I recognized it but I couldn't put my finger on it until tonight.
