^But but I love songs like Microphone! ^^ But it would be interesting to hear ayu do rock "B'z Style"!

Me too! <3 (Even though, I got that idea from Koshi Inaba's "Hadou"! ) I hope this album is more like MY STORY than RnRC was! XDD

You know what, I agree very much. I mean I love Ayu's music but his compositions for her singles this time around are the most interesting I've heard in years. His ballads are magical and Last Angel is so much fun. I love that he kind of takes risks with is works and even if they sound a bit out of place sometimes, they somehow work.

I would like to see what Komuro can compose for ayu if he's gonna be involved in the new album. IMO, it would be lame if he keep composing for ayu for the next few albums (eventually her songs will sound similar again), but right now it's still fresh to have him as a composer over the other ones she uses (well probly except Yuta Nakano. I like his music).

I'm one of the few that appreciate it, yes. I like songs like Life and MY ALL but for some reason I don't care much for RED LINE (at least musically because who doesn't love the lyrics to that song?) and meaning of Love though all of these fall under the "easy-listening but predictable" songs Ayu's made.

The same for me. Even though I love RED LINE and I don't like meaning of Love that much.
Even with Days, a cheesy and generic ballad I dislike it musically but I love its lyrics. Luckily there are Acoustic Orchestra Versions that turns awful songs (Days, meaning of Love) into great songs .

I dun understand why people hate Days so much. I know that they think it's too generic, but the lyrics are beautiful and the melody is actually quite good. It's one of my fav ballads .

yep...orchestral version suck big time...zzzzz! :p
orchestral version make ayu's voice sound anoying

for my "days" is a masterpease...
and so many orchestral versions!...so now Orchestral sounds so trivial like eurobeat mixes.

i really love days..but i don't want another ballad like that...you were, no way to say, carols, are enough

Oh I want another christmasy one! Ha ha, like Days/momentum/no way to say. I didn't like You were... at all - it was too forced and "shouty" and just not a song I liked at all

You were... was terrible, almost as bad as BALLAD. I think I've heard BALLAD completely through seriously maybe 5 times, I just can't.

So a good Christmasy ballad would be nice...

I disliked BALLAD too but after a while, it grew on me! I just really loved the part when around 3:55 when it's so soft. I just love that part so much.

The only part I liked about BALLAD was towards the end where she goes "ima dake wo, nee yurushiteeeee HA A HAAAAA----" lol. I initially liked You were... and then I think her horrible performances of it ruined it for me and I don't really see anything special about it anyway. I love almost all Ayu ballads btw.

^I think most of her rock songs are B'z inspired. At least, I think they are! Virgin Road (to me) was B'z inspired. ^^;

Sorry, but I highly doubt that. Ayu's composers and arrangers and whoever else do not sit around using B'z as inspiration for Ayu's next rock tracks. :|

B'z are awesome and all, but they have nothing to do with Ayu's music. x_x

Hey hey hey!! I only said that they were INSPIRED by B'z... I didn't say that they sat around listening to B'z music for inspiration. Now, did I? That and I was only stating an opinion, not a fact. (Geez, I didn't know I wasn't allowed to be optimistic... <.<)
