I don't think they lip synched earlier on which was good
cos I mean come on man , it's Kohaku & somemore the guy who played Domyoji's mum's friend (or was it lover ?) in the HYD movie , he's sitting in the judge panel :x everyone looked good despite the over the top gold outfits :p

^ I haven't seen their performance yet, but they lip synched last year (some songs), so it wouldn't surprise me if they did it this year too...o.O
Though I really don't want to judge them before I have seen their performance!

Ohno also sang Kai Kai Kai earlier on which's cute xD , coupled with the same outfit he wore for Monster it was hilarious that when the cameras are on Ohno , he looks as though he's 1/2 sleeping mentally somewhere lmao as expected , the White team won again yoo hoo *O* === ARASHI performed Love Rainbow & Troublemaker earlier on at the Johnny's countdown , on top of this building they weren't present at the main venue where the countdown was held & they did the performance in a relay like setting broadcast

 you make it sound as though the white team = ARASHI don't you know there're other non Johnny's heavyweights in the White team which include - Kobukuro - Fukuyama Masaharu - EXILE - flumpool - Yusuke - L’Arc~en~Ciel - Tokunaga Hideaki Someone obviously didn't do his homework on this *deadpans  The White team has won for the past 7 years straight & outta the 7 years , only ARASHI was part of Kohaku twice so how do you explain the other 5 years huh ? WORD

^^ Well, I saw it coming and I'm actually a bit pissed (even when I don't care too who wins, I'm only interested in the performances!), because this year the red team clearly had the better artists!

all of the whole red & white teams are basically stupid if not un-necessary/lame at the end of the day
I watch Kohaku for the performances , I wouldn't really bother who wins & loses everyone all wins at the end of the day for all the performances that all 44 acts put out earlier on , so what's there to complain about ? really , some people are just so ~_~

ah yes sorry I got distracted after seeing something on the net xD
but anyway , this year's Johnny's countdown , it's not really as fun as last year I feel already ARASHI's not physically present at the main countdown venue so it felt kinda empty :x

matsujun seems like very busy.i don't see him on the stage with nino and the other guy(aiba?) .he appeared for minutes and went off?

it wasn't Aiba that went MIA just now at Kohaku , it was Ohno :p
He had to go & get changed backstage to sing Kai Kai Kai which was used for his Monster drama Aiba didn't go anywhere , like Nino & Sakurai xD

LOVED the performance! i loved matsujun's english in the beginning!
 super cute!  they really did an awesome kouhaku performance this year! now i have to find the countdown on youtube!

 But I really wonder who's crazy idea it was to let them perform on the roof in the cold? Good thing that they performed two fast songs...at least they had plenty of opportunity to jump around! XDD

Meh, the Countdown this year was one of the worst. No real highlights, even Kinki Kids who hosted seemed bored. It's definitely better with Arashi there, or even Kanjani 8 who also make for good laughs. But I suppose them hosting the Kohaku and Kanjani 8 having their own Countdown will be a regular gig now, so the Countdowns that are to come have lost their spark. By the way, I'm very positive they lipsynched their medley at Kohaku and at the Countdown.
