B'z break records and top Oricon chart with their 1st single in 2 years and 9 months

"Uchouten" also allowed B'z to update their own records of "number of consecutive chart-topping singles" (47 consecutive No.1 singes), "sum of the chart-topping single" (47 singles), and "total sales figure" (35,577,000 copies).

My guess is that they didn't had enough time to finalise/include the Uchouten PV in time so in place , live footages are included in the DVD instead

That said , the Uchouten PV is superb if not awesome & kudos to the director for having a great creative vision on it . That's how you do a great epic comeback !

B'z announce new album + stadium tour

B'z officially resumed their activities after releasing their latest single "Uchouten" on January 14. 'EPIC DAY' will be their 19th album and it will come about 3 years and 8 months since their last album 'C'mon' was released in July of 2011.

Besides "Uchouten", the track list will consist of 9 other songs including rock tunes ("Las Vegas", "EPIC DAY"), pop numbers ("NO EXCUSE", "Amarinimo"), and medium-tempo ballads ("Exit To The Sun", "Classmate", "Kimi wo Kinishinai Hi Nado"). It will be released in 4 different versions: LIVE-GYM 2015 Edition (includes live goods), Limited Edition (includes live DVD), Regular Edition (CD-Only), and Analog Edition (included download card).

For their upcoming stadium tour, B'z will begin on June 13 at Ajinomoto Stadium, then make stops in Fukuoka, Osaka, and Aichi. Prior to this tour, the duo will hold a hall & arena tour for about 2 and a half months.

I'm surprised GO FOR IT , BABY - Kioku no Sanmyaku- is excluded in the tracklist of EPIC DAY oO 10 songs don't sound a lot but hopefully it's quality over quantity

And looks like the PV for Uchouten is not included in either the single and/or album oO Oo

Yeah I know. :\ It IS a little unusual. But, I'm not surprised that GO FOR IT, BABY -Kioku no Sanmyaku- wasn't included, tbh. They tend to occasionally leave single songs AS single songs (like HOME and ARIGATO, for example).

Oh ok . I have the GO FOR IT, BABY -Kioku no Sanmyaku- single so at least it's not that bad

The version that has me giddy is the LP version!

But, I agree... It doesn't make any sense on why they excluded the PV for Uchouten on both the single AND the album (unless it's out on iTunes or something). O.o;
