I'm gonna flat out say that I don't understand half of what she's saying.
All I understand is work bitch. The beat is ok, but will I am should never have touched it. Danja would have been nice. |

If it was a Gaga song people would be trashing it so bad and it would be probably the end of her music career, let's be honest lol

Yeah definitely, and we don't even know if it's going to be a great move for Britney. I mean she did have a worldwide smash with Scream & Shout but this is a tad more on the ballsy side. I'm just happy to hear her confident for the first time since Blackout.

And how is this a comeback? Eveything she's released since she lost her marbles has been labeled a "comeback". She's had like, three or four at this point. She's been back. I currently love Oh La La. She looked so happy and it seemed more... her. She's not a fierce bitch type. She's not Gaga or XTina. We all know she's a sweetie.

She's said numerous times that she doesn't like it when people label it as a "comeback" cause she never really left, it's her team's way of creating hype i guess. Oh La La was cute for a kids movie, but generally it sounded cheap and yes, i'd actually use the word generic here. Yeah she's definitely a sweetie but her stage image used to be sultry and fierce as well and she enjoyed it, i'm not sure if she's still like that but she's Britney and that what she's known for. I don't think she would record it if she didn't feel it.

Every new album that she releases counts as a new era = a comeback imo. And the same goes to almost every artist, they get to reinvent themselves with every new release, so yeah. |

I have high hopes for the album actually, even if I don't like most of will.i.am's works.
I loved Femme Fatale, it has to be one of my favourite albums by her if not my favourite. Most of the fans seem to be liking Work Bitch though? I still think that it is a weak song for a comeback single. |

I really don't like it. It does nothing for me and maybe that's because I don't like this type of music. The song seems so impersonal and it reeks of will.i.am.

I don't get why you guys don't like "Work Bitch".
![]() I love that Brit did something totally new and it's definitely NOT "Scream & Shout 2". Just because she "sings" or speaks again with this british accent doesn't make it "Scream & Shout 2". Actually I absolutely love her british accent, she sounds really confident to me. An EDM-influenced song is something Brit hasn't done before, I like it 'cos it's fresh from her. Somehow for me it has the right attitude for a "Blackout 2" sort of album. All in all it's not a radio friendly song but therefor an awesome fierce dance track with strong electro beats most popstars would be afraid to try. |

I'll admit that the beat has grown on me and I've always liked britney's tone, but she just sounds so dead. Makes it look like Namie's been shocked with a defibrillator and she feeeeeeeeels alaaaaaaive.

Hmmmm....
Well, I like the song, but I see what people are saying about her in the song... compared to her last album this is just... mediocre. Ill wait to here the rest of the album before I count this out... I liked Oh la la a lot more... oh, and FYI... will.i.am is over rated and needs to stop. |

I find it refreshing to see someone in pop music saying that if you want something, you have to work, instead of "the universe owes you everything because you are a special little star" crap that some singers are putting out lately. So, I actually did find it kinda mature. Her voice is far less edited than usual, it has an interesting agressiveness to it and the beat is a killer. 2013 Britney is very promissing so far.

I agree with the majority of you.
I think her singing isn't anything exceptional or even good. But the beat is awesome. All together I think the song sounds more like a club remix. |

I think this is the third time that i've changed my opinion, but I like the song as a whole. At first it was meh. Then it was hmm the beat's good. Now, I love how the lyrics mean "something" (ie you gotta work to get what you want) and how dumb yet amazingly-bad-that-its-good britney sounds when she says "ahhhaaaaaah ring the alarm". It's so bad that its amazing and will definitely become infamous in my day-to-day life.
Britney's always being innovative. Now she's serving us generic crap and somehow it's amazing. All the other EDM songs seem like so much work has been put into them. This song seems so simple, and to top it all off, Britney sounds like she gives no shits about anything (still deader than Namie) but it works here. Always doing things differently from other people. I mean... what kind of adorable Queen? Speechless. She seemed like her old self, still a bit anxious, but better than most of her interview.
