DAIGO's 2nd single BUTTERFLY / Ima Aitakute... ranked in at #7 overall in Oricon , making this his 2nd consecutive solo single to get Top 10 status .

I listened to BUTTERFLY single today. I was surprised in a good way. The previous single was good but I think that the sounds are BREAKERZ-ish again. But with BUTTERFLY, DAIGO goes ahead & created a different sounds. Something that make me say it's really a DAIGO song & not a BREAKERZ song. I like BUTTERFLY song. Ima Aitakute is really a beautiful ballad. & ROCK THE PLANET is my favourite song of this single.

Honestly , I don't want to compare BUTTERFLY / Ima Aitakute ... with Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen ∞REBIRTH because both singles are on completely different levels , be it visually or song wise . Looking back now , Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen ∞REBIRTH feels a bit too safe despite that it's overall a really good single

But for what DAIGO has done for BUTTERFLY / Ima Aitakute ... , I suppose after using Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen ∞REBIRTH as his debut stepping stone & seeing how well it did , he decided to throw caution in the wind this time round but the end result is still spectacular for what he was able to achieve with BUTTERFLY / Ima Aitakute ...

I mean , I can't even compare BUTTERFLY against any other songs that he wrote/composed be it when he was DAIGO☆STARDUST and/or in BREAKERZ

That said , hearing him rap a little bit for the 1st time in BUTTERFLY made me laugh quite a fair bit , who knew he surprisingly sounds quite good in doing it hahahaha but I digress xD

Metadon's Nao served as MC for yesterday's DAIGO MOBILE members only Christmas party cruise event DAIGO Present Christmas Cruising Party that took place yesterday afternoon at the Tokyo Bay Cruise Ship Symphony .

DAIGO to star in his 3rd movie, a live action adaption of Cardfight!! Vanguard, out in Autumn 2014



Many websites posted numerous updates today that surrounds on DAIGO in which today , it was announced that he will be starring in his 3rd movie which's a live action adapation of Cardfight!! Vanguard .

The live action movie of Cardfight!! Vanguard, out in Autumn 2014 is scheduled to get released next year in Autumn & this will be DAIGO's 3rd time starring in a movie , the previous 2 being 2010's Kimi ga Odoru Natsu & last year's Ultraman Saga .

DAIGO to provide a new song for Cardfight!! Vanguard's 7th anniversary in 2014, titled V-ROAD

Next year's the 7th anniversary of BUSHIROAD , the company that distributes Cardfight!! Vanguard .

And in celebration of this , DAIGO has been chosen to provide a song in marking this occasion .

The song he has provided is titled V-ROAD & it's something that he wrote + composed himself .

V-ROAD will be released under a new unit called BUSHI★7 (in which DAIGO is 1 of the members in the group) & the new Cardfight!! Vanguard CM that will feature V-ROAD as the BGM will be aired at the end of December 2013 but a snippet of the song was played during a Cardfight!! Vanguard press conference yesterday
