I'll be really interested to see the commercials for this...just to get a better sense of the editing behind each version. That will probably be the deciding factor for me lol

Interesting enough some Twitter users have pointed out that yesterday's show was not called the "last live" only "last dome tour" and some are speculating of one last Okinawa concert.

Not saying it will happen, but it's fun to speculate as her retirement won't officially happen until September.

I was thinking about that last night. This was really a tour to promote Finally, not necessarily the final live, and what would make more sense than a huge farewell concert in Okinawa along the lines of the one she was meant to have for her 20th anniversary?

Otherwise her finishing the tour in June and waiting to officially retire until September makes absolutely zero sense.

I've been saying this since this was announced, and people here were like "no, this is wishful thinking lmao" hahaha but why would she wait 3 months, right? And I also suggested the last concert might be in Okinawa, cause it only makes sense in my head if her definitive farewell is where it all started haha I also said she might release a last album a la momoe yamaguchi and never perform any song of it, but that was wishful thinking HAHAH

Yeah, I pre-ordered the Fukuoka & Tokyo versions based on the website descriptions (well, I bought the Fukuoka version for sentimental value but the focus on Namie might be interesting), which I now realize means I basically bought them blind haha. Hope I'll be happy with them as I did the name thing on both...

I could actually see this happening, especially after they gave her Okinawa award. It's hard to tell during the concerts, but she does seem to be more emotional, or at least sentimental, in real life, so it actually wouldn't be out of place for her to do one last live where she grew up. It's fun to speculate but who really knows what she's planning. Also don't forget WOWOW is airing the Fukuoka Dome show later this month.

I think it will be a fitting way for Namie to perform for the very last time in Okinawa as it's where she was born and it's a place that means a lot to her

Also it makes no sense that Namie has nothing in the pipeline from today until mid September , aside from the last few magazines featuring her that will be published in weeks to come

That said I would love to see Namie perform on a few TV shows before she retires , such as maybe appear on MUSIC STATION for 1 last time and do a super long medley of her best known hits which I'm sure TV Asahi will be more than willing to accommodate her on that

I know this sounds sarcastic, but I remember she said she didn't know much about Okinawa since she left the place when she was teen for good (?) I was quite surprised how she emphasized Okinawa lately.

A final concert in Okinawa sure does sound good, but I prefer to have a final brand new album though.

So I've not really kept up with the setlist of each concert. With the new releases, do people have reccomendarions of which DVD I should purchase? I won't be able to get all 5 (not for a LONG while at least) so I just wanted to purchase one from CDJ to get the poster. I really like the Fukuoka concert cover, is that one worth grabbing first? Thanks guys.

I think the main priority factor that will make you decide which version to get 1st is probably the 3rd disc because that's the only difference , aside from the covers and the various different bonus items given away at different CD stores

Namie uses the same setlist for all namie amuro Final Tour 2018 ~Finally~ dates be it domestically and/or her last Asian tour

For me , I personally like the covers featuring Nagoya , Tokyo & Sapporo

Also the colour text used on the DVD/Blu-ray covers are not the same . For DVD , they used silver while for Blu-ray , they use gold

I'm curious which version/s avex Taiwan will make though . I will be very surprised if they're able to make all 5 versions but they probably might only make the version with the Tokyo Dome footages for the 3rd disc

Ooohh, I see. I thought CDJ got the setlist wrong because they're all identical. This release kind of confuses me, honestly.

The last Namie DVD I got from Taiwan (Live style 2016-2017) had the hard subtitle problem again. The whole concert except for disc 2 had Chinese subtitles and can't be turned off, at least on my device. I'm terrified they'll do it again so I want to get at least one of the DVDs in Japan press so that can't be a problem.

I wonder what she has planned for these remaining months, if anything.

Aside from the WOWOW broadcast and some random magazine covers... there's basically nothing going on until the DVD release end of August.

Give us something queen

I agree that wasn't the actual final live. I see her ending with an Okinawa show probably with a different set list from last year (hopefully). Other than a new album, I can't imagine why there's a three month gap otherwise.

Yeah, if this was the plan I'm really surprised that each date didn't have some set list changes. Give people more value for their money. While it'll be cool to have all the concerts, considering her shows really don't have any changes in them it does seem really, really over the top.

I was hoping the boarding music on the Amuro Jet would be like, instrumental renditions of her biggest hits No such luck but it was cool being on it anyway!
