I sometimes get so freaked out when I come here and see impatient posts from Ayu fans. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. My fangirl side probably feels the same so I can kinda understand how everyone feels.

One thing I don't understand is that some people are freaking out of her sexiness. I think it's cool. Ayu is an adult for heaven's sake. I'm sure she has the bad girl side behind that pretty face. LOL.

And since everyone seems to always have to be so accepting of everything ayu does all of the time, if she decides to express something crazy in a PV, then let her, and don't lose respect for her, because thats just stupid.

Seriously, Ayu could do worse things than Namie and Koda in a PV, and I would still look at her the same way.

But I really don't see her doing anything like that, because she's very private.

To sum it up.

I doubt Ayu would pointlessly do something sexy just to get attention or sales. We all know there's going to be alot of symbolism in both PVs.

I think people are afraid that if Ayu acts sexy, it'll be more of a Kumiko or Namie sexy, which is why some people are sooo afraid and against her doing anything sexy.

Ayu obviously wouldn't do something she wanted to do anyway. Don't blame the director or someone else for her wanting to be sexy, she's a grown woman and can make her own decisions. She has more say in her PVs than anyone else.

When it first came out, I remember hearing how she didn't want to do the "sexy" parts of the Startin' PV, that she was coerced/persuaded by the director. I wish I could find the source to prove it >.<
But also, I have a hard time believing that the queen herself could be forced to do something she didn't want to do.

I don't speak for everyone, but the reason that I fear a sexiness-overload is because it could turn into the kind of idiot soft porn that caters to the unintelligent masses. In particular, I'm thinking of most commercial American female artists and the racier Japanese ones.
Ayu being sexy isn't a bad thing. But it's so easy to go a little too far and forget what made her a respected artist in the first place. While I don't see this actually happening to Ayu, I can't help myself from fearing that it could.

she was said that Startin' was meant to be a band + ayu performance without the dance. But as time went on, it became a ayu + dancers performance.
