I know some people have commented that its awkward that she's performing 2NE1 songs, but I was in the NYC date and all I can say is that CL did AMAZING!

The concert started with a bunch of 2NE1 music videos so it didn't feel like she was just taking the group's songs and making them just her own, erasing the other girls.

I was standing super close to Dara and the whole time you could see she was sooooo HAPPY hearing CL sing their songs, and doing a pretty damn good job at it! Dara looked so excited and kept dancing along, it was adorable. I definitely agree that CL should've maybe performed some more new songs and make the bulk of the concert HER songs instead of mostly the group's, but she still did an awesome job I wish I could see her again!

^tons of fans? your are like one of those crazy k.pop fans. Who did she lose? The ones that read the Quran, and I doubt those were that much - and they will come back if the music is good.

The tour is pre-promo, like all her gigs so far. You are right, she is taking her time, but oh well. And I bet Fans expected 2NE1 songs ( I just think it is strange that she blocked them together + she di not sing that much new songs)

many people protected her over mtbd, then over Quaran thing, then over 'asian girls are timid' comments etc...some people who protected her over such things decided not to after the Quaran stuff rose again and she posted some lame letter about it. just saying.

It's official:

Breaking: 2NE1 Is Officially Disbanding

YG has officially announced that 2NE1 is disbanding.

Though the group is no more, CL and Sandara Park have signed solo contracts with YG. Park Bom has not resigned with the agency.

Here is the official statement from YG:

“2NE1’s exclusive contract expired in May 2016, and with Minzy leaving 2NE1, we have come to the decision to officially disband after extensive discussion with the remaining members.

“As 2NE1 was YG’s official girl group for seven years, we cannot begin to express how we feel, but we determined that it was too difficult to continue. Rather than waiting an unknown amount of time for 2NE1’s next promotions, we have decided to focus on the members’ solo activities.

“We sincerely thank all the fans both in Korea and abroad that have loved the group and their music for all this time.

“We would like to officially announce that after last May, we resigned with CL and Sandara Park. However, unfortunately, there is no new contract with Park Bom.”

Well I guess now we know why YG artists aren't attending MAMA...that label is a mess right now. 2NE1 disbanding, Winner losing one of its most popular members... Could 2016 get any worse?!

I'm so sad that 2NE1 disbanded, especially 'cause I wasn't really a fan for maybe the first 4 years of their career. I feel like I wasted all those years and as soon as I grew to love them, they're gone

I do wonder what's gonna happen with Bom, though. I would LOVE for her to have an amazing solo career but she's not in YG anymore so would she go to another label?? If so I really wonder which one, 'cause YG's whole thing is "We are so different from other labels blah blah blah no one else could have our artists blah blah blah", well let's see who's lucky enough to have that goddess now, lol.

Also I can't wait to see what Dara does!! I'm happy she's still around, but she's more into acting, right? I don't really see a solo singing career for Dara, she's adorable and has a sweet voice but idk if it'll work solo forever. I just hope they don't do a duo with CL and Dara 'cause that'll really look like YG is desperate to milk 2NE1's fans for everything they're worth. It's time to let 2NE1 go altogether and let these ladies do whatever they want. I'm in love with CL's solo career atm, so as saddened as I am for losing 2NE1, I'm happy I still have CL's music to look forward to

It was pretty obvious they'll disband sooner or later when first of them tried to sing solo. I feel sorry for Park Bom because to me she was the most interesting voice of the band and I've been hoping for her solo career since a very long time.

Bom actually posted this last night just a few hours before the announcement of their disbandment, so maybe she will be signing to a different label and continue her singing career??

I won't miss them. I liked Bom, but since Korea hates her, probably she won't comeback to the entertainment world.

At least we have Wonder Girls and Brown Eyed Girls from the golden era. Next year, SNSD will be gone too...
