Capcom's popular video game franchise Sengoku Basara will have its first live-action TV show entitled, "Sengoku Basara -Moonlight Party-" starting next month! The series was previously adapted into two anime series and a movie.

Actor/singer GACKT (Shiki, New Fist of the North Star) will star as Oda Nobunaga (right), Kento Hayashi (Arakawa Under the Bridge) as Date Masamune (center) and Kouhei Takeda (Hana Kimi, Kamen Rider Kiva) as Sanada Yukimura (left).

GACKT will contribute the ending theme song "Hakuro." The show will premiere on July 12 on MBS, and it will run every Thursday night at 1:25 a.m. (effectively early Friday morning).

This is the first time I'm seeing a Japanese male celebrity with moustache, but I don't really like this idea...GACKT looks like a Chinese samurai in this new look

:O Here's a shocking rumor!

Weekly tabloid magazine “FRIDAY” has reported that singers GACKT (38) and ICONIQ (27) are currently in a relationship! The latest magazine issue released on June 22nd contains photos of the alleged couple together.

According to FRIDAY, the rumored couple went to a high class French restaurant and dined there for around three hours eating and sipping wine. In one of the photos, the rumored couple can be seen gazing at each other and holding hands. When they parted, they gave each other a hug. GACKT and ICONIQ both appeared to be very happy.

The couple became acquainted through the music festival “a-nation” last year and became closer when they met together with staff to go out and eat. According to officials, their relationship is starting to truly blossom.

When Sankei Sports approached GACKT and ICONIQ’s companies neither negated the rumor, but said, “It’s their private lives and they can do what they wish.”

Umm... She's technically NOT from Korea. She was born in Japan, ya know. She's a Japanese of Korean descent. Her real name just happens to be "Ayumi"!

If she's kinda korean doesn't mean it's not gonna work out, the separation of his early marrage/relationship was because a SIMPLE woman couldn't handle the pressure she got from fans and stuff and had a nerve breakdown. I am sure the person from the same field of publicity will be able to handle the crap people will be throwing at them both. About time >_< I have to admit I prefer Gackt as Gackt, and not as YFCz. I went to London to see Gackt (as YFCz) last year, and you can clearly see the difference in quality (sorry, I guess this is just my opinion).

YFC's break up has been kinda announced ages ago already, all the guys have their main roads to drive on, so it had to happen, i am actually thnking it's about time too. Never felt like YFCz' music was my cup of tea....
