Same, I would love the album so much more if those tracks weren't there. Plus the remixes don't do much for me. It kind of annoys me how I bought the OKay single, and all the tracks are on the album anyway...

BUBBLEMAN ENGINE is a fantastic album. TBH, I don't mind that Monkey Kingdom songs are there. Ballerina Brain System, Hangover Payback and Monkeybone City were the best songs on that record, anyway.

Yeah, I bought the OKay single too~ But I guess it was good, since it added to her sales. At the moment, every single sale counts (*_*) I would hate it if she was dropped..

Yeah, they're good songs~ I just feel they're from a totally different era for MAA and hearing them inbetween the BUBBLEMAN ENGINE songs just throws it all off for me. It's not something that ruins the album, it's just annoying.

I kind of thought the same thing about the old songs being on BUBBLEMAN ENGINE...they sound really out of place, especially Hangover Payback BIG TIME. I think the overall vibe & style is different & they really don't belong on the new album. Honestly...I kind of just see them as filler material, which just comes across as laziness to me . I mean I know it takes a lot of time, effort, & money to produce new songs, but it's an album so yeah naturally it's going to incorporate all three. It's funny because I think the OKay single sort of signaled a new era for MAA...I felt it was a bit different from the previous material she had released, especially due to the fact that the OKay single seems to fit in perfectly with the new album's other songs, or at least imo they do.

Mm? What are the reggaeton lyrics in No Bra Sleepwalk?

Oh, and the new album... it's decent, but not as good as Monkey Kingdom. I miss songs like Ghost Enemy, Hangover Payback (yeah I know they put it on the new album) and Beautiful Mistakes.

So, after listening to it again, I can say it's a nice album to me, but it's missing something to stand out. All the (new) songs flow extremly well together, but that's also bad, cause they are all the same kind of song or pretty similar.
The good side is no new song is bad!
I prefer Monkey Kingdom by a long shot though, guess I just like this style better.
And I agree that the Monkey Kingdom songs are pretty much out of place on the album, would have been better without them.

My favs from the album are Mayday and New Moon.

Exactly what I think. I do love Monkey Kingdom a lot, but it's obvious they wanted this album to be her first full-length - it's a shame that they made it a full-length by recycling old material. But oh well~ I do love the new songs on there Now, where's that promo...?!

Oh, here's a photo of MAA and I'm probably thinking two staff members/friends? from her official Facebook page.

I love that album~~ It's one of the few albums of that genre that's really grown on me...

a lot of the songs make me sad though. Very emotional album.

I find it very interesting, I like the genre though I never get into it a 100%, but since MAA's personality comes through each song, makes me love this album a lot, which is a bit bizarre but in an awesome way

She's just too bubbly and awesome

And yeah the album gives that kind of "end of the World" melancholia
