It's already known from the beginning that there would be no way for again to get #1 with both EXILE & YUI releasing their best albums on the same week

There's still a chance for A CLASSICAL to be able to get #1 on 8th Jan that week . At least she's not releasing a single on that week , as the 1st 2 weeks of Jan 2013 , both weeks are already locked in for #'1 , singles wise

Im glad BENI is selling well, its taken her some time (and might I add its not even original music?) but she is finally selling good.

Just to add on what I want to say about BENI , it's not as though she's an overnight sensation since she debuted as a solo artist in 2004

Way back when she was still in avex , success for her was only so-so . Only after she transferred to Universal , change her music sound/direction then things slowly but surely began to pick up for her

Only this year , I can say that she attained the most commerical success with the 2 covers albums she has released & to think when she 1st released COVERS , I really thought it was going to fail big time

I literally am eating my words & recalling them back like now , looking back at this

I remembered only 1 remix album of hers reached #1 but I'm not sure it's which one -_-

And from what I'm seeing so far , 1st 2 weeks of Jan 2013 , albums wise , no major competition are releasing but for singles , it's a different thing

The following 2 artistes which I'm most certain they will be able to get #1 which includes

9th Jan 2013 that week - Hey ! Say ! JUMP's Yamada Ryosuke's debut solo single Mystery Virgin

@Karen: I didn't have high hopes for COVERS either...but then, I never had high hopes for any of her albums. She releases them so...oddly...no promotion, her style, etc.

But I'm glad they've gotten recognition. My favorite thing about BENI, and imho her best feature, is her voice. So. Why not have success off that.

The way she's being marketed back when she was in still in avex & now Universal is very different

Not sure why but at least after being 8 years in the business , she's finally getting the most commerical success she has gotten in recent years

And yeah I do keep note on what new releases will be out in due time that's why I know Kumi's Koishikute has been pushed back from 5th to 26th Dec

BENI has paid her dues that's for sure & I only became a fan of her some 3 years ago when I saw her Kiss Kiss Kiss PV in a hotel room when I was in Macau

It's always nice everytime you support an artiste & you watch them grow musically & then some , you can't help but feel some sorta attachment towards him/her

And it's a nice compliment you've said about me which I must thank you for that !
