There are fans from London and L.A. They probably talked something to ayu when she visited them. They could know.

But even since then she's spent a ton of time here with her friends.
She probably isn't fluent, but she's probably just fine. Besides, when you date someone who speaks another language than you, it's not THAT hard if you both have an okay understanding of one language. Especially one like English where there are a lot of ways to say things. And you can always look things up if you're unsure lol

I'm hungarian, but my last 3 dating partner (2 of them becamed boyfriend) was korean..
We talked in english, and if we had problems, it was never because the language barriers, but another reasons. I think it just need to be more patient with each other, but in the beginning, when everything is still rosie and full of love, it's not that hard.. I think Ayu likes to talk in english, and already much more comfortable with speaking, then before.

ahaha I remember when she try to have a conversation with her foreign fans at Asia Tour. I was like "huh? oh...yes..mmm...right." its not about her vocabulary or grammar, its about her pronunciation. The thickness of her Japanese accent somehow confuse me at that time. So glad she's better now.
Question is, ready for another Asia tour Ayu? |

So what if the timing is bad? it's her personal life. I understand how she must be desperate for a marriage. eggs have an expiration date, and after 35 years, the risk of having babies with chromossomal abnormalities rises considerably (remember kuu scandal?), so maybe she's running against time. (and dating a medical student maybe reinforces this problem more lol). I just hope she can find someone she can be happy with. He's ugly, but well, I hope she finds happiness this time.

Hem...ImpactBreaker you know 35 yearsold means that she has a loooot of time to get pregnant before the "expiration date" and you know...there's no need to marry to have babies and there's no need to have a man either---just saying

The fact a woman hasn't reached menopause (around their fifties, plus or less), doesn't mean pregnancy doesn't become riskier to the mother and the child after the mother is past 35. It's already scientifically proved that women over 35 are at a higher risk of having babies with serious illness, mainly, chromosomal disorders, specially down syndrome. While ovulation ceases with menopause, way before menopause, some of the eggs are already aged, and susceptible to errors during division, meaning one egg will not carry one of the chromossomes and the other will carry an extra copy, because differently from spermatozoids which are constantly renewing, the eggs have been the same for those 35+ years. Of course the risks become more significant perimenopause, and some of the popular belief is a little exaggerated but still it is matter of concern for some women. Japan is probably concerned with that, though I can't make assumptions based in one person, but... Koda Kumi even made a scandal a few years ago when she told she wanted to run against time in order not to have babies with problems because she was reaching and older age, but the way she said was quite crude, so it brought negative criticisms to her. Even in my country, I see many women concerned about getting past the 35 without any child. I'm not saying this is necessarily rational, as indeed women can have healthy babies even when they are about to reach perimenopause, nor am I encouraging that women shouldn't have children past 35, because at the earlier years past 35 the risk is still low, though it does rise in comparison to women below 35. And, of course, a women doesn't need to marry in order to have babies, nor are they forced to have a man anytime in their lives, nor it is necessary for them to have a relationship with a man of any sort in order to have a baby as there are sperm banks and other ways for conception, nor is it necessarily every women's goal to have at least 1 baby in life, but many women do care about that though (about becoming "aunties", "single moms", rarer but still of concern to some who are more ocnservative "pregnant before marriage" etc - it shouldn't be a subject of shame, and some of these prejudices are rather stupid, but society does put a lot of pressure on that even though it has changed considerably over the years). Maybe ayu does, maybe she doesn't [care]. But by the way she's been acting quite desperate over the past years, I'd guess maybe she might be concerned about some of those topics. But then, maybe she just feels lonely and want a serious relationbship with someone so there obviously are many other reasons. Maybe she even isn't desperate, even though it might look so lol.

I still am perplexed at people saying he's ugly. This guy is pretty good looking, tbh...

Its weird that so many are adamant on her having a baby.
Like, grossly weird. Ayu has the right to her own vagina guise! |

Lord, so much judgment going on.
Ayu is a big girl and she can make her own decisions. Timing doesn't necessarily mean this was a publicity stunt. They've also known each other for a year, and have been together for a good part of that year, which I think hardly qualifies as "rushing." I mean, they might not even get married right away. Sometimes people stay engaged for quite a while before tying the knot. And still, what if they do get married immediately? So what? That's their choice, and we should be wishing the both of them well, not concern trolling! We don't know the details of their personal life. Sure, there's always a chance that their relationship won't work out, but they could also be a match made in heaven. We don't know, and instead of speculating, let's be happy for them. ![]() As for their ages...no one bats an eye when a 35-year-old man and 25-year-old woman get engaged. Reverse the genders, and suddenly it's scandalous? That's just plain sexism. And finally...why is anyone taking 2ch and their ilk seriously about this? Their response is pretty predictable, and really not worth the attention of anyone over the mental age of 10. Okay, rant over. It wasn't directed at anyone in particular, but even here I see a fair amount of people reprimanding Ayu as if they have any authority to do so...

^^The possibility of her wanting babies shouldn't be cast aside based on the impression of people who only know her though Cds and Dvds. It's not uncommon for women over 35 to get really worried about having children because they don't have much time left, so some people are wondering if this is a reason for her to try to have q husband lately. Not that she needs a husband for that, but I imagine the ultimate meltdown over here if Ayu shows pregnant while single, or how that would affect her with her public.
@Kuronekomi Not thaaaat much time... +- 5 years safely and +- 10 years with medical help. |

To the Japanese public though... I think they think she is a slut due to the quick succession of 2010-2012-2013 relationships.

Ayu should do a sit down confessional interview like when koda kumi did one about the womb comment and bravely took off her nail art.

Wasn't there rumors of Nagase being a sex addict? Lol. And it took a toll on his relationship with Ayu?

I don't think ayu should have to. Its her personal life, she is entitled to have one, shes already giving her fans so much with time and everything. Koda's thing was a completely different. Koda accidentally insulted every 30 or so aged women who hadn't had children yet
