Which album is Style from? It's strange she doesn't credit the original songwriters given is she not known for sampling anyway?

My copy of Utopia arrived the other day (I've decided to work back through her albums). Am I right in thinking it's not everyone's favourite? Femme Fatale is still my favourite but I think there's a few songs on here I will use. I was wondering how How Far I'll Go would fit in with the rest of her songs and it turns out it fits pretty well.

Utopia is a good album, just very chill and different from her more upbeat stuff. I still think HEAVEN and TRUE LOVERS are her bets works tho.

Hm, Idk, I have a hard time imagining what they gonna put on it apart from some songs which will certainly be there.

Someone on another site mentioned this is supposed to be an All Time Best, but that info is not on her official site, so I don't know if this is true.
But at least then it would be more obvious what will be on it, like CD 1 songs from M Best I and the 2nd disc newer releases.

Btw. she just started her 15th anniversary tour this weekend. Here's a report with pics:

^I doubt it will be an all time best. if it will be, I agree with you, if it is a continuation of M BEST I'm pretty sure my tracklist is to 85% accurate

When I went to Japan last month I picked up her last few tours (+ I saw Femme Fatale live last year) and I have to say, to me, Miliyah is the strongest among the longer lasting female J-Pop singers. Her sound is diverse, her albums always have a concept she sticks too, she has really emotional lyrics that also address wider topics (and sometimes even topics, that the public avoids). When she does ballads, she does them good, when she does dance/upbeat she kills it. They are never the same, yet, she always manages to incorporate her sound and they always sound fleshed out. Among the "pure pop"-singer, I think she has one of the best voices (even more so live).
I really don't get why she isn't more successful and it really makes me mad, that Sony Japan doesn't make her available outside of Japan.

That said, M BEST II is coming out next week. I'm not so thrilled by the track-list. I'd have preferred a continuation of M BEST or a different title if it is not that.
Yet, i really love the packaging and the special instagram account she opened for it.

On Tuesday she will release the new PV for "Sayonara Baby" feat. SKI-HI and so far i really liked the previews. Haven't heard one for PARADE yet tho.
