What I really like about your site is the filter. Imo it could be very useful if you remember the topic of a song Bit aren't sure which Song ist was, that happend to me pnce or twice

Wow, this is amazing, thank you so much! Especially since divineayu hasn't updated for ages, and misachanjpop doesn't have any of the songs that were released after MIJ. It would be lovely if you could keep updating the website, if you have time for that ^^

Dead sites are sad, but I love if they're kept up regardless.
It's a look into the past haha.

I still remember having to use Yahoo Briefcase to download pieces of a larger file and having to join them together later. Nothing was worse than downloading like 15 files only to have the 16th one be broken

To anyone who has bought CDs in Japan : Do Tower Records, Tsutaya and HMV sell "old" Ayu stuff? By old I mean stuff released a few years back, like 2014 or 2015 for instance. If i go to one of these shops will i be able to find DVDs and CDs in new condition there or do I have to search for second-hand stuff at book off?

I'd like to buy some recent stuff I have yet to acquire in Japan so I can avoid shipping fees this time lol

Bigger locations, such as Shibuya, will have larger selections. Smaller ones, such as inside Tokyo station, have limited space.

Tsutaya, more than anything, is a rental store. Some locations also sell CDs, but generally only newer releases.

(Shibuya's Tsutaya has the largest selection of rental CDs/DVDs in Tokyo, though.)

Sometimes small little CD shops have some treasures though. Unfortunately I don't have any to recommend, I only find them randomly. I got Daybreak with a sticker that still said "new release" on it lol. It had been sitting there since 2002. XD

That would explain a lot to me! I was there asking for Kumi's Driving Hit's 8 and the cashier smiled irritated and told me the way to TOWER RECORDS ��

Almost everywhere has A COMPLETE lol it was the most common CD I saw over there. If you're after second hand I found the Book Offs outside of Tokyo and Osaka were great to raid. The best one for me was Hiroshima!

If you have a passport you can even get tax free items at most Book Offs. I'm pretty sure it's for all foreign visitors? The one in Akihabara (Akihabara Ekimae) didn't do the tax free but had probably the second best selection of items.

In my experience at Book Offs earlier this year, there are up to three sections for CDs: 100Y (mostly singles and older albums), 500Y (mostly newer albums) and "other prices" which is stuff like box sets/compilations etc. All 100Y and 500Y are in their own sections so you'll need to look all over the place. If you find PERFUME you're near Ayu (PERFUME usually has a big display which makes it a landmark), just look a little down the shelf and she'll be there!

DVDs and Blu-Rays are also on separate shelves and range from 250Y for older DVDs or a-nations up to 3000Y for new Blu Rays. Most DVDs I bought were 750Y or less. I picked up the Blu-Ray Complete Box from 2011 for about 4500Y and it was in new condition.

I randomly found a 2001 era mook on my last week and realised I hadn't even looked at the books and magazines sections specifically so you might find all sorts of random stuff.

There is also an idol goods store in Nakano Broadway which has Ayu goods. Very few of the illegal concert photograph sales stores have Ayu in them anymore. I only found one store in Osaka this year whereas in 2015 she was also in Takeshita Street's (Harajuku) stores.

Maybe we should have somewhere that lists places where you can buy goods lol

I did see ayu's CDs (including some of the old ones) at shibuya Tsutaya, most recent visit being last July, but the selection was smaller than at Tower Records and her CDs were a little hard to find there. I even bought playbuttons there back in 2013

Yes I can’t recommend Book Off enough! I found these in Book Off Akihabara for about 250¥ each.

Yes! BOOK OFF is the best one. Everytime I pass in front of one I have to enter because they have so many limited stuff life A COMPLETE box and even her books (the Deji Deji and I even saw a Super Ayu there). And everything is so cheap lol I also recommend you going to Nakano Broadway's Mandarake because they sell a lot of Ayu goodies there. Even goodies from STADIUM Tour!

They even have Perfume limited editions that would be a fortune on eBay and there is just like 500yen.

Book Off is the BEST. I got COMPLETE LIVE BOX at 1150 yen. It didn't have CDL 02-03 but I got it elsewhere so I have the complete set now.
