At least if it's a remix it's by planitb. All Utada's planitb remixes are amazing. And if there is an acoustic one and an upbeat one that'd be pretty cool.

But srsly, where the hell is she? And what happened to the new song she was recording? I'm starting to like... really not understand what's going on with her and both of her record companies!

Didn't U.Blog also put out the "Parallel or Together" rumor as well? If so then this latest news holds as much merit. Wouldn't be surprised if this is true based on how things have played out but it's not confirmed yet so I'm still giving them the benefit of the doubt for my sake.

Kind of feels like a death has been confirmed as has been going on recently.

Well I guess this has been another case of the fans hyping something up when the actual people behind it didn't really do anything but announce it and then shut up. This is why they didn't make a big deal about it, because it's not a big deal. We did everything else. We made this happen. Funny but sad.

I think Utada has been officially on her break. Hope she's enjoying it.

Perhaps it just credits her as the singer....but she also wrote the song so her name came under the song? Iunno

We never got official word that Utada had surgery. Not to mention she stated she gets this usually twice a year every year.

This is the last thing we heard about it:

".....However, according to a release on her official website, she had to cancel the tour after being diagnosed with a relapse of acute tonsillitis. Expected to make a full recovery, Utada is advised against using her vocal chords for two weeks and to stay indoors. The promotional tour is thus postponed till further notice."

People just keep assuming she had surgery. That's if I'm just not recalling a crucial piece of news that we got.
