do you have a giant book of ayumi facts that you've kept throughout the years or is your memory just that good?

I think my brain has a spot just for Ayu facts. It's... kinda weird. I think Deli has the same thing, haha.

The suspense of this new album is killing me! I check my computer every morning before I go to work and right after work hoping to see more updated news about the album!!!

I just wish she'd announce the title already at least!!! Oh and the date of the release ^_^;;;

I bet she won't release it til late April or early May. I hope sooner though <3

Well, that was not confirmed, just a source from someone who was apparently with avex. We don't know for sure.

If I'm thinking right, we have to have an announcement before March 23 (when the ViVi she's on the cover of comes out) right? since that ViVi would be promo

it's not too late for any date in April, as March goes by, we take a week off April as being possible. We can't say that it's too late for April until March is nearing it's end

So I was also thinking, that maybe the reason it is taking longer to put out this album is...

CREA!

I think she might really be working hard on her own productions...? Which would mean a lot of extra work on her part. She also said in an earlier diary something about composing music (but it was hard to translate exactly what that part means). This might be more of her vision this time and she doesn't wanna rush like last year with NEXT LEVEL. I think maybe her creative team designed the NEXT LEVEL image and Ayu said "yeah, why not! It sounds like a really cool idea!" and maybe this year she is more involved?

I think that's a valid possibility, but given that she's had CMJK and Nobita-kun aka Yuta Nakano by her side the entire time, I'm unsure if that'll happen.

It'd be a nice surprise to see a handful of CREA tracks though. It seems like something she would totally tell us though as opposed to keeping it secret/slightly hinting at it, you know?

NEXT LEVEL might've been mostly her... I don't think Ayu really has a creative team like other artists per se... it's like... she comes up with stuff, and they execute it for her? It's not like GaGa's Haus of GaGa... I think. Who knows, really, haha.

So...she's going to introduce the new songs in the concert...let fans hear them...THEN release the album? Well....I don't know how that will go. If they see performances like identity and LOVE'n'HATE last year, where i read the seem disinterested, would they still enjoy those songs?

I dunno, I think she'd want to keep that a surprise actually. Actually, CREA tracks would explain, for me, why this album is so tightly under wraps. She doesn't want anyone to know too much before it's perfect in her eyes.

I feel the same. I think maybe if she let us all know, their would be even more high expactations from all the fans and high hopes. That would = a lot more pressure for Ayu.

I don't think there'll be any CREA tracks...it's been over three years since the last one, hasn't it?

She was very open last time with the possible selection of a CREA work last time in November of 2008, but it was not chosen in the end. Very sad, but... oh well. We got Rule/Sparkle over that instead anyway.

I'd say that the possibility of CREA being involved is possible, but don't focus too much on it because it's also possible that CREA will be nowhere to be found on this album.

It would also explain why she's still recording, she'd want to get her own melodies perfect. She could think up little changes and such that she hadn't thought of when she first sang them, and has to go in and add them because we all know how much of a perfectionist she is

Although, I don't think that there will be CREA, I'm just speculating XD There hasn't been a CREA track in a bit more then four years (Will was the last one in 2005, right?)
