For her old stuff, I normally try to get them 2nd hand. Saves a ton of $$.

I also try to put a limit on the stuff I wanna get, like maybe $12 on an old single, $18 on an album, sorta thing. So if the price for an item goes above that, I'll just pass and wait for another offer to come along. I'm only buying these for collection's sake anyway, so I can afford to wait. ^^ (doesn't work for new releases though, I need to get those asap lol!! )

i donīt buy singles, and if i buy them i only buy the CD version. The PVs and makings are gonna be included in the next album so i think itīs a waste of money...unless you really love the song

I usually only purchase albums and tours. I have the Deji Deji first press and ayumi hamasaki THE LIVE 2008-2009 books. I also own Arena Tours starting from MY STORY onward. Singles aren't really my thing since I just don't have the money to blow on a cd with a few songs that I'll get on an album anyways. But, I do own BLUE BIRD CD+DVD and Days/GREEN CD+DVD. Specifically because at the time I adored BLUE BIRD and Beautiful Fighters, loved the cover shots, and also got a poster with that single. Days/GREEN I bought because Days really blew me out of the water and the shots for that single were also amazing. I somewhat regret not buying Mirrorcle World now...

I usually buy new studio album releases when I can afford them, and some compilations if they have something that's not on anything else usually. I tend to buy things I will use, or watch regularly. If it's going to be something that's going to end up sitting on a shelf gathering dust, then I won't buy it, even if it's something nice. Which is why my collection is mostly albums and a few DVDs/VCDs. The only other things I have are first press extras from albums, one prize and some posters I bought 6/7 years ago. I realised it wasn't worth buying everything, it was better to just buy things I would use.

THIS is the ultimate money-saving technique

I usually just buy the albums as they come out and singles only if I REALLY like the songs/covers/awesome first press, haha.

I would rather buy her old stuff second hand too. I don't even have to go that far to search for good deals, AHS has their own buyers and sellers section, great deals abound!

Well for me personally, I like to start off buying the albums I love the best....or the ones that I've barely listened to so that I'm buying something that feels new . As far as merchandise goes, I really only pay attention to the music.

At the meantime, I just bought her new releases except singles and other merchandise.

BUt I do have plan to buy other merchandise like tshirts and phone straps. but i would think twice or even trice to buy them..and the result is, i don't buy them.. as i'm a student, i don't have much money to buy other merchandise.

i received money from my brothers and sister if they're get back home (they're not living here anymore). and sometimes when there's some money left when buying things using my dad's money. he would let me keep the left money. and i would take it even it is 10 cents!

i also don't eat high price food during school time. i buy food just for covering up my empty stomach.

that's the way i'm suffering just to buy ayu's albums...

I'd like to buy all but I know that I can't do it in one day. So I take my time to earn money month by month.

I've bought Japan/first press CD of her singles for the past couple of years, but I think I'm going to switch to album only, maybe OS version too. XD

When I first started to buy Ayu's stuff, GUILTY had just come out a few months ago.

I bought parts or her back catalogue (I only got singles I really wanted, considering there were over 40 of them and who knows how many editions) second hand online, using eBay or a middleman to buy from Japan. I had lots of money (disposable income lol) so in only one month I think I spent about $300 on orders. I went a bit crazy, I admit that! After I got a big chunk of it I slowed down a lot.

Now I just buy as they come out, although I haven't preordered MOON/blossom yet as I may wait for the HK press or a second hand copy to come up. I just can't afford it at the moment lol I definitely recommend getting her older stuff second hand as it's much cheaper than buying new on YesAsia.

If you want a good quality version without the price tag of Japan press, TW press or Korean presses are awesome Just know that there is no USB pressing outside of Japan! ^^

I very rarely buy her merchandise. When I see something that I must have, and I will use a lot, then I might consider buying it. Like, for example, I really want her tote bags and hand bags, because I love bags

this is easy. i simply tell myself i dont need 4 different versions of the same album (or singles). and i simply have no money. even if i have, its just not worth it buying every of ayu's release to collect.

A lot of the older ayu CD's and DVD's I bought were OS press from a local asian CD store. I went there every couple months and bought something new from ayu. I have almost all her albums and a few concert DVD's. I also had a steady job . It was rather easy for me to gather some of her older things, especially because she was the first asian artists I started to buy things from.

When I decided to try to collect all of Ayu's singles & albums I just did it when I had the money. I don't know when I started to do this but a lot of her older singles (pre 2005) I got from eBay. I also asked for some for Christmas and my birthday ^_^ Now I always pre-order a new CD/DVD and I managed to get my last old CD back in April when I finally found a re-issue of For My Dear... at her Saitama concert

I've moved onto collecting Ayupans now as well. With these I order a new one when I receive the last one I ordered. Otherwise I'd order loads in one go and wouldn't have any money for the rest of the month!!

Usually I buy overseas versions of new releases. I sometimes use EBay or YAJ. I got most of my singles from there and at a relatively low price too. If you want to buy her older singles, go look for used copies on EBay. They're great!

Simple, I only buy the things I really want. For me, the most important things are Ayu's albums and her tour goodies, especially the pamphlets and photobooks! I also buy other tour goodies, but only when they're not so expensive anymore (for example, I got the "NEXT LEVEL" hoodie for 23 Euro instead of 53!)
For older releases I use "ebay" or other second hand shops.

I have only recently started to buy Ayu's singles, because I want to support her more through that, but I don't need four versions of the same single, so I only order the CD+DVD version(s).

I'm really not a person, who needs to have everything, but I always save some money for Ayu-stuff, so I really don't have any money problems, when it comes to paying for her things.

I really don't purchase Ayu's merchandise that often, so that's a big part of my "I want all of Ayu's stuff" problem solved.

If I buy anything, it'll only be an album (CD or CD+DVD) or a concert. I don't buy her singles (I only have two because they were gifts) and I dont spend my time looking for calendars, Ayupans, etc.

I actually have many DVDs/concerts because back in, like, 2006 was it? my dad got me some of the DVDs that were on super sale or whatever lol. Like, Arena Tour 2002, both Concert Tours.

I actually have to say that the only thing I've bought on my own was my bootleg A BALLADS.

To be honest, the secret to my buying is, well one I dont have much money. I'm pretty good about saving my money for "important" things (not that Ayu isn't important xD). Second of all, I keep in mind that it's not like Ayu's merchandise will disappear forever. I don't go after first press stuff, and I just don't have that addiction where I HAVE to buy an album as soon as it comes out because I feel like it will be gone or something. I would like to collect/buy all of her studio albums, even if they're only CD versions, but I will eventually catch up over time and when I have the money. (Plus, I'm not too far behind. XD I have half* so I'm almost there! )

Spoiler:
* Only including original studio albums: A Song for XX, LOVEppears, Duty, I am..., RAINBOW, Memorial address, MY STORY, (miss)understood, Secret, GUILTY, NEXT LEVEL, Rock'n'Roll Circus.
