I have JP CD-only and TW CD+DVD, and they both have it. Listen with earphones, the first 10 seconds of Last Links is mostly in the right side, the left side is veeery faint.

The lyrics itself is not about her hearing, more about the earth. It's the guitars in the beginning that can only be heard from the right side that seems to make people speculate the song being about her right ear.

Countdown- for the beginning you can hear the sound that seems like the ringing sound that Ayu always had in her left ear before that ear became totally deaf. (you can hear it for both side using headphone or speaker)

Last Link - for about 10s at the beginning (as mentioned before) you JUST can hear from your RIGHT side (make sure you use the headphone to differentiate it)

i already realise about these 2 songs the first day i got my cd and hear it with my headphones, that's why i end up crying when i heard the album.and the flow...if you pay attention to the lyrics, all the songs are actually link to one another.

i love R'N'R album, i have been repeating it soooo often since i rip it to my itouch

In count down I hear the sound through both sides normally but in last links the left ear the sound is very very dimmed.

Even if there is no difference in the sound of countdown, the lyrics talk about her ear issues in a very explicit manner:
