Sucks that L isn't doing as good. >_>
And a lot of people were expecting this single to outshine Crossroad.
Oh the irony.

that is true L had no promotion T_T
i would like to see how well an ayu single does
if Avex were to uber promote it,
like Ayus music everywhere agian like in 2001
her face EVERYWHERE!
that would be so nice

^Yep it's true, for me a maxi single like L sells pretty well, but probably the release of crossroad (with just one a-side) one week before, was bad for the sales for L IMO.
But it's ok!! ^_^ !
I hope a really great promo for her upcoming album then

I wonder what the sales of crossroad or L would have been without the release of the other. Of course it wouldn't be the same amount plus the other, but still... what if?

for me, if L not released back to back with crossroad, i think it will get much more attention and more copies...at least, it will get the same amount like her crossroad sales

Uhmm That's not quite true.

I saw a lot of promotion for L in Tokyo, around the main train stations, shibuya, harajuku, and other places

I remember trying to take photos of 2 big billboards for L at the Otsuka station from the Yamamote line... but the train passed too quickly lol

anyway, thanks for the sale update!!

^ Really? That's both encouraging and not. Encouraging that avex put in some effort, and discouraging that it seemed to produce little hype. :/

Yeah, I said the same thing before. She may not have been on the music shows, but in terms of billboards - M/B, Crossroads, and L all had way more than usual. She was much more visible in the train stations than she has been in a long time and that's probably one of the most important promotion places.

That is good, but I think for it to be successful it has to be paired with performances. People aren't going to buy a single if they don't know what a song sounds like.

It's still doing well though. And the sales don't really matter so much when the single is this good.
