i think she's super cute! i thought the video was rather age-appropriate and really fun, like the song itself. i just hope she doesn't feel the pressure of growing up too fast. (though, that's saying a lot in the industry, lol)

she has mad swagger though. wow. i wish i was that fierce at 9 years old.

Willow has given this message about her song, taken from PerezHilton.com:

" Whip My Hair means don't be afraid to be yourself and don't let anybody tell you that that's wrong. Because the best thing is you."

It also goes on to say that if she makes #1 this week with her single, she will be the youngest artist to do so. Meaning, she will beat MJ.

music world, so UNFAIR

if she wasn't Will Smith's daughter she wouldn't famous, this is just not fair.
Nice for here, she has a song but not really my music style, but it is really good for nine year old child

Talent is largely irrelevant in the (Western) music world. You have to have connections to begin with or not going to get anywhere. So it's not "unfair" that she's famous. She wrote a catchy song, people like it. Not just children either, grown adults, too. She may not be a music prodigy but for a girl so young that's impressive.

It's like that in pop music, world wide. Not just in the west.

i know, but still i think it isn't fair. Without her daddy's fame she wouldn't be a singer, or her brother either famous.

But i agree with you it is impressive for a nine year old

You could also look at it this way: Ayu probably wouldn't have been famous if she never met MAX. Utada Hikaru probably wouldn't have been able to get a foot in the door if it were not for her parents. Does that mean they deserve success less than someone who is just as talented but plays on street corners? It's all about connections. And a parent (not necessarily famous) is going to use whatever means they have help their children accomplish their dreams. Whether they put them through college or they make a phone call to a music executive.

As they would say in slang. You go girl! She killed it. Yea she's but the song is hot and I would support the record completely. And besides she isn't the only person that releases a song being under teen age.

yeah you are right, i overreacted i think. But i have sort of a irritating to that, famous childeren. I feel like if they want to be a singer, they make a videoclip and a song. Don't they liek it, the next day they play in a movie, do you get. They can doe whatever they want because there parent are rich and famous.

anyway, i think truely, it's immpersive of a nine year old girl.
Also that hear, very rockish. I feel like she has a bit or rihanna style, i like that. SHe is alos pretty good singer for he age
