@bondingo: That's what I say whenever I see all the hate here on Duty.

A lot of her older songs are so needlessly neglected. smh Yet she'll perform others to absolute death that it becomes annoying JUST to see them on the set list. Yeah, yeah I know she has the staples that HAVE to be performed or it just-won't-feel-like-an-Ayu concert.

ifkr?!!

That album has some of my all time favorite songs packed into the most amazing first half of a tracklisting and it's just brilliant and I just don't get what is there to hate.

^ TOTAL agreement, especially about the first half. Pretty much the only thing on that album that I'm not in love with is girlish, and even then it's not a bad song.

I don't like Duty that much, but I love SURREAL and Far away, another underrated song, rarely performed.

I think it might be a bit emotional for her to sing and she sang it at her 2000 concert tour I can't remember which one and her stadium tour 2002 but not fully in her stadium tour

I think what happen is that Trauma ended up becoming more popular than monochrome and monochrome just got forgotten about, probably because of the para para dance for Trauma and the different track-listings for the A single which didn't always give monochrome top billing.

I wanted to mention I read somewhere a long time ago that the reason monochrome cuts off suddenly whenever she says "lalalala I’m very strong" was because she's denying the fact that she's strong. Notice how the guy says "yeah right" after that line.

TBH, I feel like the entire A single is kind of forgotten. I mean, even I forget End roll was on a single... haha

On the other hand, I remember that japanese fans chose that song for one of the a-nations, it means that the song remains popular.

But they didn't even broadcast it on TV and it wasn't featured on the DVD. I wonder why.

And it's right that on the "A" single, Trauma took all the spotlight.

Both monochrome and End Roll have been my biggest ballad favourites for years and years now. They have always been the songs I never ever skip and always include them in my playlists etc. So I'm superduper confuced how they sometimes gets forgotten.

During AT08 monochrome got voted forward as one of the favourites in the acapella section. I hope she will include it in a setlist soon again.

And wow for that guitar monochrome video! I loved it!

AHS married to Maro
~13/1-2010~

Spoiler:
We had such a nice time. We started dating in t2m PV, took it slow you know, let our love grow. Then it got really serious in 2008. Then after AT2009 we moved in together. It was lovely. Then on AT2010 he asked me to marry him. He was such a sweet. And Ayu gave us our blessings. She was also such a sweet. Now me and Maro are such a sweets together. Aaaw, how time flies.

This song is so nice I love it specially in the part before she says lalalai.
That instrumental part sounds amazing.

The end part never bothers me. I think there was a explanation here on why it ends like that.

trauma, evolution, boys and girls, audience, and surreal have, in concerts, basically overshadowed her entire career pre-rainbow.
