Aw, I do feel bad for Timmy. That's just mean. Also, kinda lame. I'm not a Timmy fan, but I have better things to do than friend him of Facebook to attack him. The world has enough negativity.

Nothing will ever sound as gay as Ladies Night again though...

Ladies Night sounds 200% straight when compared to the rap from NaNaNa.

Only because of the lyrics. Ladies Night musically sounds like it's straight out of a Cher album. That's why I love it.

I really don't mind Timmy. BRILLANTE is perfect of course, and I love all the other music he's written for Ayu. His rapping isn't bad, considering that Ayu wrote it, and I like his voice. It does seem like he's everywhere at the moment, but that will pass in time.
What I mostly don't get is how mad people are about his voice in Return Road. You only hear him for like ten seconds of the entire song, and I don't think it was ruined by it whatsoever.
If anything, Timmy has just helped Ayu bring her visions to life. He's doing a fantastic job.

I just think this is one of ayus phases, and in time he will bow out, like Tetsuya Komuro did after all the songs he composed in 2010.

I never really paid any attention to him until I heard NaNaNa. It absolutely ruined the song for me and just made me really angry. Then he was in the Shake it PV and I didn't know what he looked like, but I was like, "who the **** is this guy? He's really annoying." Found out he was Timmy and now I'm a bit annoyed.

I don't mind him as background vocals. I might be the only person who can't even hear him in any other song than NaNaNa, to be honest. But I'm not enjoying his more inclusive work, like when he's 50% of a PV. WTF? Get out of the way. I'm not watching this PV to look at you. I at least found Shuya very attractive to look at lol.

^^Lol I agree with you. Personally I don't even hear him on Return Road.

Just this. He was ambitious in Brillante but in everything else it was just lame, I don't want Wellard feat. Ayumi Hamasaki.

She may try different styles but I want Ayu to have her own spirit, ESM is like totally european release with only Ayu's voice but no soul nor style, does he wants to turn her into something that I'm full of here? I didn't escape to Japanese music to get the all same.

As for PVs with him, I understand simple PVs like Curtain Call or Heaven, simple can be beautiful but Nanana and Shake it are just a slap in the face. Did she really have to go to England to do that?

Check Greatfull Days, also simple but so many things are going on and Ayu lookes so gorgeous, why Shake it is so bad if the concept is similar?

I'm a bit angry at him right now, or at Ayu, I've been watching so many amazing PVs recently: Namie's Go round / yeah-oh, YFC's Mata, Koko de aimasho, SNSD's Time Machine, Kuu's PVs, they all were so amazing, why Ayu PVs aren't touching anymore. HBYA was quite ok but I don't like the song so it kinda doesn't matter.

Maybe I shouldn't be so harsh on Timmy but on Ayu, she can't be manipulated, all she does has her approval and that hurts me the most

^^I know, I don't get what she's thinking. It's just a bit much, that's all. Le sigh.

Actually, I wonder if Timmy and Ayu have been hearing the negative feedback on Timmy? I have yet to hear anyone say "I'm so glad she works with Timmy and I hope he's around forever in very song, PV and tour!!". Perhaps not that enthusiastic, but no comments have been extremely positive. And I know that people who are annoyed with Timmy are the ones who are most likely to take to Twitter and let the world know.
Don't know about Ayu, but Timmy is somewhat aware of how part of Ayu fanbase is seeing him, and even the most absurd stuff like blaming him for everything from this era people dislike and stuff like that... and that's why he left that Jpop forum, for example... Don't know about Facebook or twitter, but I wouldn't be surprised.

But I don't think the majority hates him, just that the majority don't... It's just someone else dancing on a video, singing on the background or a random vocalist adding chanting to the recorded songs, we, here on AHS, are not the majority of her fanbase, and a good amount of her listeners aren't really interested on digging into her personal life or works to know who sang this or wrote that... But as always, the haters are more vocal (even if, at least here, are the same people repeating the same comments most of the time).

I'm not being too vocal about how much I'm enjoying most of the stuff he took part in (Nanana video being the expection), cuz I think it's kinda useless... But I made sure he knew it on Facebook^^

I have a gigantic "meh" and "get over it" for anyone who doesnt like it.

I had to get over all her stupid shuya, kazu, and yuta nakano love. Even though her career has been total crap since she's been overusing those people.

Now we have this album, that apparently has Timmy's influence all over it, and it's the best thing she's put out since GUILTY.

um. I'm okay with it.

oh and +1 for the m.o.v.e reference...even though...comparing Timmy to motsu is lol

I agree with you on Return Road. Sorry, I'm probably wrong with this, but it sounds as if people are envious/jealous of him being this close to ayu, or about being perfectionist with ayu being a solo singer. I guess I'm not minding it much because I don't really care much about ayu personal life or choices. I want to listen to her and her songs and if she has someone featuring in her songs but she's still singing on them, it doesn't bother me. I don't dislike PECO+PRINCESS, but I can understand how ayu's vocals clashed with theirs, while I don't really have that feeling with Timmy.

Ayu needs a breath of fresh air in her music. It's not like she has released 5 albums with huge participations of Timmy on it. The majority of songs with him barely actually features his vocals other than NaNaNa.

about the PVs, I haven't watched any of them yet. The PVs are never the main feature for me when it comes to ayu m usic even though I love her PVs. They are more like a plus that can't affect the songs negatively regardless of how bad they might be.

Agree! All she does has her approval does hurt the most. It is sad that it seems her judgement is kinda chaotic.

As far as Shuya is concerned, I only see him in her live tours. Yes he is over used, but at least he is not everywhere. But Timmy is everywhere. I actually liked BRILLANTE, but I do find it annoying to see him everywhere since FIVE. Thanks to him, we have mediocre songs (such as Pq, tnL, ESM), the rapping, the chanting (that ruined RR), and IMO NaNaNa and Shake It PVs are among the worst Ayu PVs to date.

What's wrong with making them gay? I don't think he's making them gay, anyway. I think it's pretty obvious that Ayu accepts gay people and has no problem featuring flamboyant gay people in her videos, music, etc.

This is a good question, I'm wondering this too.

They probably aren't as hardcore obsessed as some of us are. LOL
