I remember in the past, looking at a pictures of kuu and for a fraction of a second being unsure if they were ayu or her lol

Yeah I don't know about those lyrics. It's plausible since the Engrish doesn't really need to make sense to be correct but that "Rat-ta-ta" just sounds wrong. I swear I hear something about "so move your body" not "move it like that rat-ta-ta"

Kuu...not so much. If anything, she's like wine and gets better with age haha.

lol I'm really not trying to. Some people love her style this year and some people hate it. I just happen to fall in the latter category, but I respect the former as well. *shrug*

But to move back on topic, Kuu looks really pretty in the video. Haha I didn't even notice the green screen, but that's really funny.

I can't wait to see what she'll have in store when she returns after her mini-hiatus from lives and what not.

I want to see pics of the baby when it comes! lol, I doubt we will though

I wonder if we will. Some celebrities are very private with their children, both in Japan and in the west. Popular model Tsubasa Masuwaka never shows her son's face. If he appears in her blog his face is covered with some hearts or stars.

I don't think that Kuu's or Ayu's new styles are necessarily "American". I just think both women are following the current trends in Japan with the eye contacts and such. I originally thought the contacts had a western influence, but they've evolved to become very unrealistic-looking, not western at all.

this so much, so true, so true, not fan war waging, but even pregnant Kuu, who can have health issues still (it's prenancy XD) looks so much more goregous. her hair is way better. and make-up is amazing

I love Ayu, but most of the time she looks like a plastic doll. Especially since they started to use too much photoshop on her beautiful features which made her look unrealistic in my eyes and I hate that. Kuu on the other hand has always looked more natural (same goes for Namie imo).

But I anyhoo, back on praising Kuu to the heavens. I wonder if she's going to release a new single before her comeback live. I hope that if it happens, it's gonna sell like MOON did, for example, and she'd have a huge kick ass comeback like Namie had. ^o^

I would love for Kuu to be the comeback kid. She needs it. Namie's was very successful in part to her change in musical direction for her [60s70s80s] single and killer promo that slayed for days. If Avex cared enough to step their game up, Kuu could achieve similar results.

Overall Kuu's recent offerings don't sound fully evolved from her previous releases to me. Of course there are a few exceptions. But this is my humble opinion.

I agree. I've read interviews with magazine models who wear contacts during the shoots, and the interviewers asked why the models were wearing brown contacts, not blue or green, and one of the models said that was too "unrealistic" as in it wasn't the eye color Japanese people normally have. I think what these girls want is exaggerated Japanese eyes. Doll eyes. I think that's why Kuu's contacts are in brown.
