^You can make more money with less dates on larger places, cuz u have larger publics... It ends up being more profitable...

But if Tokyo Dome's accoustic has something to do with her hearing problems, I prefer her out of this x_x She could do a Stadium Tour...

^Yes, I'm all for another STADIUM TOUR too. I really love the one she did in 2002 so it would be nice if she had another one too.

I guess what I'm trying to say is... if she ever decides to do it, I trust her instinct and the fact that she'd accept the possible consequenses.

But I've wondered something for a while now... Do you guys think she would have acted the same way after injuring her leg in 2001 Dome tour? Just saying "sure I can run, the show must go on" or would she have taken a break, stayed at the hospital, apologised to her fans? I once remember her hurting her arm and not performing at the end of the year in some avex-function (if I remember correct, she was suppose to performe "Rule").

I really like the idea of a Dome tour, simply b/c she already did it once. Would be nice to see the outcome now, but of course I care about her health more than a DVD on my shelf.
As far as I know she didn't perform at that Avex function because the fall that caused the injury to her arm was only the previous day or something of that sort; she was put on bed rest until she had the surgery for her hand and fingers and then a bit of bed rest after it before she returned to shootings and rehearsals for CDL.

She probably pushed herself more to perform with a hurt leg at Dome Tour because that tour was HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEE for her and her career.
The Avex function where she was to perform Rule was not that big for her

I just learned that they way they have to pay for the tour is different then westerns...
So she may not want to shell out the money for a tour like that...
I can see her maybe adding one stop at the dome or stadium.
I understand when she did it back at her height it was never done before, nor do I think it has been done since. (by a single female artist)

^Pretty much this... stadiums are outdoors...

A good stadium tour would have +- the same attendance of a dome tour with the same number of dates...

A MUSEUM was one of her smallest tours both attendance and budget wise.

I also remember something about her not liking big audiences. I think she likes to be near her fans. She could do something like TA limitted but not only for TA.
Places like yoyogi stadium are big enough i think, there she can do almost whatever she want talking about the show.
I liked a lot the place where Kumi's Dejavu Tour was made too, and it was smaller, like 10th anniversary in Taiwan was smaller than yoyogi i think.
Plus if dome had bad acoustics...

BTW I think she can make dome or stadium tours and get them sold out. But again, does she need it? I don't think so.

^ Even now, when I watch some lives between 2000-2004, the audience is not really doing anything. Just... standing there. Even during songs like B6G and evolution and such, but this may be because of cultural differences as well.

Yea, doing the dome tour was definitly a big step in ayu's career, but I think Namie did a dome tour as a solo female artist back in 1997. Her tour for "Concentration 20", but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Yeap, this is pretty much the question... As a brazillian, I'm used to see the audience pumped up all the time with almost no effort from the artist...

Still, on the hands of a capable performer, even the already pumped brazillian audience takes it to a whole new level of wildness One thing I love about Ayu, is that despiste cultural behaviors, sometimes she can make a japanese audience looks like the brazillian audience of a top performer. ^^
