At least Kuu got a #1 with however many copies she sold.
Some artists don't even get the chance...

I wish angela aki got #1 with her 2K sales...

It could of been AKB and I would still say ITS A DEAD WEEK.

as for the bolded part, since ayumi did 70K it cant be deader then 55k, now can it... she sold 15K more copies. But just droping Ayumi and talking with Nana who did 75K, 20K more then Kuu is a little bit better...
I still wouldn't consider that a hot week though... its better, but not excellent.

100K for me is excellent and not many solo's get that anymore.
most weeks have one single that has amazing sales, usually the JE/AKB factor comes in here, and the rest pull decent numbers

this week the difference between Kuu and SuperGirls was a few hundred copies and third was a few thousand copies behind, so no it wasn't a dead week by any means

most people here are saying we aren't in 2007 anymore, update those standards since selling 55k is really good nowadays for singles for soloist, I would say excellent

by your standards only Masha,B'z,Mr.Children, and idol groups would meet it.............like whatever you can have your indivisual standards but overall they are quite unrealistic in today's climate of single sales

Amen!

Um, no.
I dont see why I have to update my standards to make you feel better about Kuu's release. You should just leave it alone and be happy that she got a number 1.

and quite frankly I dont see how my standards effect you in anyway. They dont bother you, or I should say they SHOULDNT bother you and if they do, then ignore them. And they really are not my standards but the certification standards.

But its no use trying to talk to Kuu-o-holic. I'm done with the topic.

ah but wait, I'd like to thank you for insulting all the "kuu-o-holics" before you left.

Classy.

^ hey now, I wasn't insulting. I used the term in the same way that people use it in ayu-stan... I was going to say Kuu-stan, but that just doesn't have same ring to it as kuu-o-holic. although I might drop the last -. just be kuu-ohlic... that might sound better. lol.

I was just done with 'discussing' what I think is a good week or not. It derails the thread and really has no point being in a thread just for Kuu's number 1 single spot.

I'm sorry, but I have to bring this up.
And I'm also sorry if I offend anyone, I'll edit the post (or delete it) if it seriously offends someone.

Anyway, while TeamAyu2004 used the term kuu-o-holic, which is cute.
BUT, randomjpop blogspot created a... Better name for a kumi koda fan

Behold:
Spoiler:
Kehova's Witness. Kumi herself is called Kumi Kehova

I've been holding that in for so long, it isn't funny.

Loves it. My new religion! I guess I will have to leave the church of Hello Kitty, though
