Well... the ~Reafrain~ and ~Destiny~ are OK, but nor my favourites....

I don't like the PV for ~Destiny~

But I absolutely hare ~since 1999~ - that Tsunku guy - I hate him! He sings like an old toad! I hate it! And the engrish in the lyrics.... blah....

The song is so powerful! At least for me, it has the best lyrics from all of Ayumi's songs. FROM ALL OF THEM. The PV is nice too in my opinion, but of course it's not her best.
I just love Love ~Destiny~ so much, one of my favourite ballads of all ^^

Love Destiny is an okay song, I think it is a little too slow for me though. Love since 1999 rocks though.

I love this song. I like the Pv too! more than dearest one (both talk about Ayumi (star) life style)
However, i really dont like tsunku. I cant support his voice....and his face. IMO, he did a good choice when he decided to become producer instead of singer

i think this song was popular mainly because of the lyrics, i noticed that songs about love in japan do really well, looking at the popcharts and knowing some of the artists who are in the top 10, the lyrics and melody are simply wonderful, you can easily relate to the lyrics i suspose if you have been in the situtation.

this topic appears again coz LOVE ~Destiny~ is great

for me, it's one of ayu's best ballads (keep wondering why there's no acoustic piano version of LOVE ~Destiny~in A BALLADS)
excellent composition,soft vocal, with great lyrics

it has a very complicated feeling,it's about breaking up, but not only sadness felt, there's also a very sentimental and peaceful feeling to memorize the beautiful moments when someone is with his/her lover.may be i'm kinda overreacting, but that's my perception about this song.Hear it when u're separated from your lover,u'll get the feeling

for the PV,standard ayu PV,ayumi hamasaki all time face expose, but her expression really fits the song

i had my own imagination about the PV.

ayu's a new popular singer,and she has a boyfriend.but his manager dislike the relationship,he thinks that ayu's popularity will be better if she's single.so the manager told ayu's BF to leave her,coz he's becoming an obstacle for ayu.

the boyfriend ended the relationship,because he wants ayu to be success.finally ayu know the reason why he left her.but it's too late,her boyfriend already went far away,without any contact left.then she sing LOVE~Destiny~,expressing how he miss the happy moments

i love the chorus of LOVE~destiny~ and the opening of LOVE~refrain~.....also what ws with the lyrics of LOVE~since 1999~? the chorus hardly made sense. "How can i loving you forever?"? i get what it means, but....geez its like Are You Wake Up?....

It hit #1 on Oricon because...

1) It was the theme song of a popular drama.

2) It was produced by H!P God himself, Tsunku, so the melody is obviously awesome.

3) It's an amazing song with touching lyrics. Though it's currently underrated, it surely wasn't back then.

4) It's Ayu.
