Guess what? Korea's diva Lee Hyori will be taking time off from entertainment promotions!

Since the completion of her SBS show 'Magic Eye' back in November, she had been taking a sabbatical, choosing not to go before the public eye. She has stopped all her SNS activities, including the blog she had been managing.

Her rep disclosed to the media, "For the time being, Lee Hyori will depart the entertainment world in order to have time to herself. That time will last around two years." It is speculated that the time she's taking to herself is due to her changes in values and priorities since getting married as she's become very active in volunteering her services.

She will continue on volunteering during her time away from entertainment. She has been either selling her belongings at the community chest drive flea market run by one fashion magazine public figure or volunteering for stray dogs.

We will miss her during her time off but it's amazing she's being so active with helping out the community! Go Lee Hyori!

Sports Chosun exclusively broke the news regarding the sexy diva's return and stated that Lee Hyori recently held a meeting with producer Kim Hyung Seok, who is also the CEO of Kiwi Media. Supposedly, she may be planning to sign on with the new label and prepare a new album, which will be released next year.

A rep from Kiwi Media carefully responded to the report, and explained, "We haven't heard anything about a contract with Lee Hyori, but we will issue an official statement after confirming it once more."

Lee Hyori is reportedly working with producer Kim Do Hyun again for her comeback!

Kim Do Hyun is a renowned producer who has created many hits for not only Lee Hyori but also Psy, Shinhwa, Big Bang, Ga In, Seo In Young, and more. He's also the producer who composed Lee Hyori's greatest hit track "10 Minutes".

According to Sports Chosun, Lee Hyori recently held meetings and is currently in the process of making a new track with Kim Do Hyun. The two are also close friends of the same age.

Lee Hyori will not be making an appearance at 2016 MAMA but she'll be returning with a new album next year.

I LOVE Hyori as a person but her music has never done much for me. I tend to like her singles like Anystar, Hey Mr. Big, and U-Go-Girl, and the only album I enjoyed from beginning to end was H-Logic but half of that album was plagiarized

Wishing her a ton of success with this new album, though! I hope it's something like H-Logic...just without....all the legal issues, lol

Album coming in May!!

On March 10, her agency Kiwi Media revealed, "We're expecting Lee Hyori's new album to release at the end of May," confirming earlier reports. This will be Lee Hyori's first comeback after signing with Kiwi Media last November.

She'll be working alongside composer Kim Do Hyun and Kim Hyung Suk, who helped produce her 2003 hit track "Ten Minute".

According to an entertainment representative on April 4, "An exact date has not been confirmed for Lee Hyori's comeback. However, she is currently hard at work on her new album."

The representative continued, "She will be making her comeback after the presidential elections. We are uncertain whether it would be a May comeback but if all goes well, we are looking at a tentative May release."

Following the news of her potential album release date, an entertainment affiliate revealed to Illgan Sports on April 7 that, "Lee Hyori is shooting a music video for her new album today in Seoul."

The singer took the time to film her new music video, not in a studio, but outside in the streets receiving much attention from spectators. Regardless of the numerous speculations and rumors, this confirms Lee Hyori will indeed be making a comeback soon.
