this is probably the only album I listen without having to shuffle or skip a track. For me its the most cohesive album in terms of tracklist as well as sound

These were the first PVs I saw of ayumi's. STEP you was the first. RAINBOW was my first album of hers but i didn't really know who she was then
. Still one of my favourite albums to listen to whole

Looking back. This album had a huge impact on me in my development of love for ayu. It's such a diverse album which was perfect for my tastes back then. It's also the first album I ever got to physically own because my parents realized how much I loved it. Just like with Utada's Ultra Blue.
Even though I wasn't around when it was released (since I became a big fan around Guilty), I gravitated towards it so much. And it really still is a stellar album today. The diversity still amazes me. And alterna is still one of my fav ayu songs. |

Ah, my fabulous (miss)understood, I love you~
I had just discovered Ayu when I first heard this album in 2006. It was a phenomenal experience. I was impressed by every song on the album. I gotta confess that I didn't like Bold & Delicious much at first but it grew on me and these days I really love it. Other songs like STEP you, is this LOVE?, In The Corner, Pride, fairyland and rainy day were also stand outs for me. Also, this album soon became THE AYU ALBUM. The absolute best album that no other Ayu album can beat for me. And it has been that way since then. I even own the CD+DVD+Photobook version of it. |

OMG YAAAAAAAS. THIS is the album that got me into Ayu. My friend bought it in Taiwan and burned me a copy (don't worry I purchased the Jpn press and destroyed the invalid copy long ago) and when I heard STEP you, ladies night, IS THIS LOVE? and the title song I was in awe. Bold&Delicious took me a bit longer but now I adore every single track on that album. I can't even express how much it means to me. Words fail.

(miss)understood is such a great album. Sure, Bold & Delicious sort of solidifies her decline in sales, but, echoing others, this is such a solid album with great singles and great album tracks. The DVD contents are great, and the photo books are beautiful. Easily one of her best albums.
