If her eyes are natural.....then my goodness-she probably has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen! Seriously.....like all my friends whom I've shown pictures of Ayu to were like, "Whoa....100% plastic surgery there!". I don't really know. I hope one day we do get a true, confirmed answer.

to me ayu's appearance doesn't matter for me for a long time...

i like ayu 'cus of her attitude towards work and life, her lyrics, how she represents herself and be true to herself always

I just think it seems awfully ridiculous for people to have stereotypes about Asian have small eyes therefore anyone who doesn't has performed surgery

Hrm...I personally don't think she had eye surgery, but honestly, I don't really care either way. I mean...if I were that rich, you better believe I'd go get some plastic surgery!

Oh and by the way, I really do think one of her eyes is bigger than the other...I've noticed it several times, most recently in one of those olympic pictures (I think the one where she has wings).

Everybody take their own picture, and flip it in photoshop horizontally. You'll notice just about everyone has uneven eyes.

Her eyes look good no matter what, although sometimes I get that "ugh" feeling at close up shots that show the clumpy eyelashes from the mascara.

That's why she should go back to the days of pre-2000 where she wears less make-up and looks nicer as I always stress.

i find people that think that way (stupid)...
i seen and compared other peeps/white/indian/latin/black
and they also have small eyes ... not just asian peeps have small eyes...
it depends really on the person.... anyone from any part of the world can have (either small eyes or big eyes) who ever think all western people have big eyes is wrong ...

yea it doesnt mean some asians have small eyes, then the majority of them would have small eyes

Who cares if she had eye surgery??? IF she did, then good for her! If she didnt, then good too, lol. I dont care if she did her eyes a little bigger, her voice and personality is still the same... whats the big deal?

Plus, I also think her eyes haven't been messed with. Sure they could have been, but I just don't think they have. Her eyes have always been big, as others have said.. I also think if she did have surgery, it's been on her nose. *shrug*

i think her eyes look natural.
i remember seeing a pic of her when she was 15, and her eyes looked like they were now.

hm .. but i think there's some evolutionary/biological evidence that shows that Asians might have smaller eyes than others ..

not sure though ..

It's to do with their eyes being sunk not as deeply into the skull as caucasians which causes the majority of Asians to have double eye-lids which aren't as obvious or as big, and in some cases, single eye-lids.

And btw, AYU NO HITOMI WA OOKII KAWAII DESU!! SUGOII!!!

yea on the top of my head i can't think of another asian celebrity with eyes as big as ayumi's

Lol, seriously, Ruby Lin, Vicki Zhou, Kaori Mochida, Kelly Chen, Lee Ga Yan, Athena Chu, H/\LNA all has nice big eyes I think...

in fact H/\LNA's eyes look exactly the same as Ayu's to me if you cover the top and bottom part of her face and just look at her eyes o___O"...Well, in the Al di lah PV anyways.

well maybe ruby+vicki .. haha ..

and i bet ayu has special make-up and stuff .. and the angle of the photo and everything .. makes it huge
